Great Sermon! Much glorious and blessed truth in this sermon. I didn't hear anything that was disputable. But I have to point to Psalms 19 that says, "The heavens declare the glory of God..." No amount of "proof" can change men's hearts. Only the Spirit through the Truth can change men's hearts. And we certainly should not need proof to believe God's Word. But having said that, the heavens declare the glory of God and I would not discourage anyone from the study of God's creation for the purpose of glorifying Him. I know from my own personal experience and the experience of so many others that have found much to glory in when studying God's work and it fills their heart with praise and adoration as it does mine. Not that it has to be an interest for the believer. It certainly does not. But I would not discourage anyone from such glorious joy in God's creation. We celebrate our Almighty Saviour who is also our Creator. |

Great Sermon! I love this message so much! I have to recommend it. It gives the glory where the glory belongs, with Christ! Turn the volume up and listen intently. It will bring joy to the heart of the believer. |

Great Sermon! Enjoyed this blessed message dearly. Wish I could have been there in person. I'm sure most do but I hope all in the congregation understand how blessed they are to be there with other believers hearing a message from the Word of God. |

Great Sermon! I very much loved hearing this. The Truth glorifies God and I love to hear it. And regarding the supposed reason not to preach this of, "I don't want to give people a reason to sin" Spurgeon said this, "...bring me the beast or devil that would say, 'God has set His love on me from before all worlds...therefore I hate God, therefore I live in sin,' Bring me the monster, I say...then I will not admit that there is reason in that vile lie, that damnable slander, which you have cast upon this doctrine- that makes men live in licentiousness. There is no truth of God that can so nerve a man to pity as the fact that he was chosen of God before time began. Loved by You with an unlimited love that never moves and that endures to the end- O my God! I desire to spend myself in your service-
Love so amazing, so divine,
Demands my life, my soul, my all
and gratitude to God for this rich mercy compels us to walk in the fear of God and to love and serve Him all our lives!"
If you believe God you understand what Spurgeon is saying. As scripture says, "For the love of Christ constraineth us..." |

Great Sermon! Thank you for that and thank you for your faithfulness to the church in Kingsport and thank you for your faithfulness to the church in Pike County and most of all thank you for your faithfulness to the Word. We can be faithful because of His faithfulness. |

Great Sermon! The Glory of God's grace is on display in this beautiful story of God's dealing with Lot. As Todd said, "If you want to see what kind of man Lot was, look in the mirror." May God strengthen His people to do His will joyfully and without hesitation! Glory be to God! |

Great Sermon! Sing praises to our God! Songs and sermons like this that sing the praises of our King are a great blessing to the hearts of those who love Him by the grace and power of God. The hymn "Praise Him! Praise Him! comes to mind:
Praise Him! Praise Him! Jesus our blessed Redeemer. Praise Him! Praise Him! Ever in joyful song! |

Great Sermon! I highly recommend this message! David understood both the righteous justice of the Holy God and His grace. The Lord has a right to do with His own as He will. Those who understand these things marvel at the wonderous grace of our God and King! |

Great Sermon! I very much like this. This is a great concern for pastors I have no doubt. But we as a congregation have a responsibility to strive and pray to know ALL the council of God! We should honor and listen to our pastors but we also need to be noble Bereans. And I ain't talking about Berea, KY as nice a place as that is relatively speaking. |

Great Sermon! Todd understands God's grace as well as anyone and preaches it far better than most. But as much as I love Todd it is obvious we don't quite match up on end-times prophecy. The people referred to in the text in Mathew are people who are alive on earth when Christ returns. The people referred to in the "Great White Throne Judgement" in Revelation are people brought from the grave after Christ's reigning here on earth for one thousand years. Just giving food for thought to those who are interested in looking into these things. |
