Also, for the record, I have never said we must vote for a perfect candidate. Why? Because they don't exist. However, we must vote for a candidate who is in accordance with God's word, and His standard. God makes it clear we are to choose a candidate who fears God, will lead in justice, and will be a servant to the people. Exo 18:21 Moreover thou shalt provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them, to be rulers of thousands, and rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens: 2Sa 23:3 The God of Israel said, the Rock of Israel spake to me, He that ruleth over men must be just, ruling in the fear of God. Matthew 20:25-28 But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them. But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant: Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many. Does Trump fear God? Is he just? Is Trump truthful? |

Unprofitable Servant wrote: Geff, it would find Senator Cruz guilty also, as he missed out on a vote to stop the omnibus bill that funded PP while out on the campaign trail.... It is not just Trump's money that is funding PP, it is YOUR money, my money. Do we also have bloody hands?... If the conservative vote is negated by lack of participation the liberal candidate wins and that will more than likely mean a cementing of their agenda with no way to stop in sight.First of all, I don't know whether that claim is even true. I want to look into that. And not voting on a bill is not the same as voluntarily giving your money to a child butcher organization! We are forced to give money to Planned Parenthood via taxation, and we are actively standing against abortion. Trump, however, willingly gave extra of his own money to Planned Parenthood, and then continued by singing their praises while on the campaign trail. The other problem is that both Trump and Hillary are liberals, and if either wins, the liberal agenda will be cemented. If Hillary wins, it will be very bad, but it will not give the liberals ammo as Trump would. If Trump wins, he (the psudo socialist, adulterating, murder funding, fowl mouthed guy) will become the face of the conservative movement. At least at t |

Unprofitable Servant wrote: Here is the real problem with your analogy. Donald Trump is not the person performing the abortions, so he is not the killer of however many babies you want to number. Plus, if Trump is the Republican candidate, a non-vote for him is a vote for Hillary who supports ALL abortions, so using your analogy, you would be guiltier than Trump for the millions of abortions you supported by helping to elect Clinton. Here is the problem with your argument. First of all, if you hire an assasin to kill somebody, then technicaly your hands are clean of the murder, right? After all, you didn't actually kill the guy. It doesn't matter in a court of law. If you pay for someone to kill someone else, you are held partially guilty of the murder, and punished accordingly. So Trump's hands are not clean of the murder of the babies he supports with his money and words (if you incite someone to kill someone else consequences are similar). Second of all, a non vote is a non vote, period. If there is a choice between two evil candidates, you should not choose either. As Bonhoeffer said: "Silence in the face of evil is itself evil. Not to speak is to speak". If you refuse to speak out against an evil candidate like Donald Trump because you think he's less evil then |
