It was you who suggested that this kind of action was quote "dark history" Do you perceive the OT as dark history? That certainly was a stern warning from God, and one which was very badly ignored resulting in tremendous loss. I thank God that under the New Covenant, which I as a gentile can be a part of, the discipline for heresy or apostasy is excommunication rather than death. |

Halorown wrote: These Muslims come over here because their own country is badly organised, incompetent and mismanaged, uncivilised and dangerous because they try to slaughter each other. And here they try to take over and make decent countries as stupid, satanic and ridiculous as their own corrupt societies and nations. =========Deuter 13:6 If thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or the wife of thy bosom, or thy friend, which is as thine own soul, entice thee secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy fathers; 9 But thou shalt surely kill him; thine hand shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people. 10 And thou shalt stone him with stones, that he die; because he hath sought to thrust thee away from the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage. Are you trying to justify the violence which happened in N. Ireland and elsewhere? Historically, each opposing side always assumes theirs is the side of truth, and so the killing goes on and on. Jesus has shown us a much better way. |

Christopher000 wrote: I wanted to add something. I know some have been arguing lately that sin is sin is sin, but...when the topic is sodomy, I see something much more sinister and vile. There's a different feeling for me when sodomites claim to be Christians and proclaim it proudly and with boldness. I get a sour, uncomfortable feeling when they, as church members, raise their hands in praise, close their eyes in prayer, and say "amen" while being active, proud sodomites. To me, I see it all as pure mockery and laughing in the face of God. What's even worse are the sodomites in leadership roles within todays church, the growing acceptance by so called Christians, and what's being taught to the next generation. The next generation will grow up right into all of this and consider it all as being normal, when it was blasphemy to previous generations. I greatly fear the day is fast approaching when sodomy in the Church will no longer shock and disgust. I say this because there are sins in the Church right now which have found comfortable acceptance which at one time would have shocked the average church goer. |
