“ Great Sermon! ”
Use the internet to teach people to read books you can hold in your hand, namely the Bible. I think that would help. Kids have to learn to get off the internet once in a while and learn to be old-fashioned. I think that would be a great ministry these days to turn people back to old-fashioned things, especially sitting alone with the Bible and reading it. We need to get off the computer more often.

We can all speculate on what happened, but instead wer should be pursuing for the Dollar family. It is obvious that Jesus if needed in their lives. Pray that the law of the commandments would prick his mind and the good news of the gospel would work in his heart.

“ Blessed are the poor in spirit... ”
Blessed are the poor in spirit... A much needed disposition among us all. Those who seek to promote pride and to promote the works of men are of the wrong spirit and need to come to understand their proper place before God. To God alone be glory in all things.

“ Great Sermon! ”
Great sermon, I do think though that a true believer needs to pursue knowing doctrine and especially the doctrine of election. We can't really know Christ or trust in Him as a person unless we know Him according to the scriptures (I Cor. 15:1-4). We are commanded in the scriptures to study them diligently and to know God in this way. In the wisdom of God He has ordained that salvation come to us through our understanding of the truth.

Sermon:
Why Keep A Christian Sabbath Today
Rev. Ian Goligher

“ Great Sermon! ”
He mentions Acts 20:7 which I never really noticed before. But if you examine it phrase by phrase you will notice it is no mistake the Holy Spirit has given us this statement. They meet on the first day of the week to break bread, Paul preaches to them until midnight, waiting to depart on his journey until the Day is ended. Awesome testimony from the New Testament to the Christian Lord's Day.

Beware of Bitterness
Richard Caldwell Jr.

“ I thank God for this message! ”
I Read your message via PDF. It was outstanding. Very well thought out and challenging. Bitterness is such a dangerous sin in our lives and even more deadly since we cannot see it. I thank God for your message and pray that He will bless your ministry!

To Rufus from Fort Worth,TX

The Days of Noah referenced in Matthew 24:37 are not in reference to the wickedness of that time period, but the day to day activities of life. I urge you you read verses 36, 38-39 of Matthew chapter 24

Sermon:
John Calvin on Antinomianism
Richard Barcellos
2
comments
“ A good subject to consider. ”
The subject of antinomianism is not really a matter of one brother in Christ differing from another. It is a matter of professing Christians differing from real Christians. If a man be in Christ He is a new creation. The carnal mind is enmity against God and is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. The spiritual mind is no longer enmity against God and IS subject to the law of God.

“ The best I've heard on this subject ”
Spurgeon affirms that the law is our schoolmaster to bring us to Christ. The perfect law which cannot be kept by fallen man shuts us up to faith in Christ alone. Take away the perfect law of God and you take away the need for salvation and a Savior. He also affirms that the Christian now willingly accepts the law of His God as his rule of life and that conformity to it is true sanctification.

“ Important Doctrine ”
Possibly one of the most important doctrines in the Bible. Along with Pink's "The Doctrine of Human Depravity", these books are what we need in 2011. Understanding what has actually happened to us as individuals, to the world and to our race because of sin entering in, Adam being our representative in the garden, is necessesary to understanding our need for redemption in Christ by the grace of God. A pity that Arminians bitterly reject the genuinely Biblical doctrine that leads us to see and feel our desperate need for the Savior and His atoning blood!

This is by far the most disgusting thing I have ever heard. It is each persons decision to live in whatever kind of sin they choose but to instill deceit in the minds of children??? Wow! god surely will not allow this to happen.

“ Awful is good! ”
We have passed from death to life positionally in Christ but too many folks don't live it out practically and that's why this teaching is needed. Excellent! Simple to understand. Read it all before you judge.
