I do believe you have nailed the problem, Brother Frank. The reality of science is that there are many theories based on observations and then analysis which has an inherent bias simply because people are doing the observations and analizing. That leads to a variety of opinions, disputes, controversies, and the like. Add the political factor which you aptly included, and no one knows who or what to believe. At least I don't. If there has been a major casualty, it is Trust. Because when Truth seems so relative based on whomever is speaking or shouting and the varieties of information from the "experts" isn't all that consistent, the nihilism of the age just creeps in. And now Truth, having been slain some years ago in the name of political and societal expediance, wasn't there to uphold his brother Trust. And Trust has fallen. Wisdom for her part, must be standing afar off with Justice. Both must be shaking their heads in disgust. Shouldn't we also?
My goodness brother well said. There is no truth outside of Christ and our Christian faith. IMO, total depravity pretty much explains it all. I may believe someone, but my trust is only with my brothers and sisters in Christ.

Well it looks like Muslims, China, the new world order and christian dominionists, just to name a few, seek to control the world at any costs. But …

John 18:36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.

John 15:18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.

1 John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

2 Thessalonians 2:8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

The below are meant to be general truths.

Very interesting article! I have always believed that women are much more likely to be bisexual, but had never read any statistics to prove or disprove that. Same sex attraction among men has always been frowned upon, but rarely do you hear sermons about lesbianism. Why is that?

If a man speaks out against women, they are often thought to be misogynists, but if women speak out against men, they are rarely considered misandrists. The reason is that women throughout history have thought they were being kept down and needed emancipation. Look at Eve in the garden as our first example.

Anyway, women are weaker vessels and men have become dictatorial or too passive and poor leaders. My guess is men are the primary reasons for this occurring. Women are allowed to lead when they should follow.

2 Timothy 3:6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

1 Peter 3:7 “Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.”

Brother U.S., I have told this story before and it is a true story. There was this fellow I worked with that claimed he was a Christian. I happened to know that he was living with this lady and they weren’t married. I asked him how he could do that and claim he was a Christian. He responded by saying that he had been saved by grace and because of that he could do whatever he wanted to do. That is the antinomian position. No born again believer would espouse this.

Romans 6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

Matthew 5:48 “Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.”

I have always felt that if Jesus is my Lord and Savior, then He deserves my utmost obedience. At the same time I realize just how short of that I fall. Does that effect my position with Him, of course not, but that is my desire and I think the desire of all those who have been born again, from above. I know with certainty that I had eternal salvation and was positionally perfect from the moment I came to Christ and nothing can change that.

Anyway, I want to thank you for arguing our position so well.

MacArthur's biggest beef is that other activities are permitted but not worship. That a measly 3 cases have arisen over all this time with all those people is evidence in his favor.
Yes brother, no one knows for sure about this virus. It changes with political agendas and that makes it even more ridiculous. We do know that it is extremely contagious and that it is lethal for older people with underlying conditions and there are probably billions of us in the world. I say extremely contagious because of the worldwide occurrences. We tend to look at things like this with a view of our own neighborhoods. Example, I know of no one who has had the virus, but that doesn’t mean that millions haven’t had it.

To me it is disgusting that scientists say different things about it. Science is not supposed to be biased and political. Reminds me of global warming and evolution.

Thanks for sharing your wise thoughts.

There is no Gospel within the PCUSA. They have almost entirely sold themselves to Satan. While some congregations are better than others, their Presbyteries ensure that they don't move too far from the denominational standard.
To leave these folks is to abandon a sinking ship. One may call that whatever one desires. There is a command of the Lord to "Come out from among them."
Sanctification is a process. Many of us have known people who have left false churches in with an interim step. I have a good friend who is former RCC. He was saved thru a Pentcostal church but eventually moved to a solid Baptist church. Trump's spiritually journey, assuming he is on one, is like anyone else's. As he matures in the faith, he will seek deeper and truer churches...like those here on SA.
Very wise comment brother. Yes sanctification is a process and it is different for all of us. After I was saved I did my share of denominational hopping. Each experience was helpful for understanding the real truth. And I might add that understanding continues to grow.

No comment about Trump.

I was baptized and confirmed into the RCC as a child. That makes me a lifetime catholic unless I am excommunicated.

I remember after arguing with a real catholic apologist that he said because I understood catholicism and rejected it, then I had excommunicated myself.

That is one of the greatest honors I have ever had.

I only posted this because someone might believe that excommunication from the RCC might be negative.

Since you can fool no one, this is the last one to you on this thread.

If it were up to me, all abortions would be prosecuted as murder. Rape and incest are often thought of as exceptions, but note the innocent little baby did no wrong. The life of the mother is considered an exception, but note the below.

http://prolifephysicians.org/app/? page_id=2

"When the life of the mother is truly threatened by her pregnancy, if both lives cannot simultaneously be saved, then saving the mother’s life must be the primary aim. If through our careful treatment of the mother’s illness the pre-born patient inadvertently dies or is injured, this is tragic and, if unintentional, is not unethical and is consistent with the pro-life ethic. But the intentional killing of an unborn baby by abortion is never necessary."

Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

Malachi 3:6 - For I [am] the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

Cultures change, but God does not. If He said that homosexuality was an abomination thousands of years ago, then it still is. Mankind took those who were called sodomites and started calling them gay. Then they started publicly showing only those that looked kind, intelligent and successful on our TVs. And of course all those who are and were not in Christ became progressive and simply thumbed their noses at our heavenly Father and His word.

Isaiah 3:9 The shew of their countenance doth witness against them; and they declare their sin as Sodom, they hide it not. Woe unto their soul! for they have rewarded evil unto themselves.

I skimmed the entire article and one thing that is absolutely clear is this lady was an evangelical feminist. She twisted scripture to suit her agenda and personal desires.

She now knows the the truth about God's purposes for women and men.

Romans 6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

No pope is worthy of commendation by a Bible believer, but an ostensible conservative is worse since foolish "Protestants" are more likely to consider them political allies, whereas a herd-following LGBT sympathizer would put them off.
Or do you really want another Innocent III, who humbled even King John of England? "The best of popes is the worst of popes."
Well said Neil! The RCC rarely denies a homosexual priest’s confirmation; all they ask for is they claim they are celibate and will remain celibate. But, as we all know that doesn’t take place. Being a priest gives them access to each other and also children. All they do is confess what they have done to each other; say their penance and then they simply continue. And of course a priest isn’t supposed to share these confessions with anyone.

My parents talked about me becoming an altar boy; thank God that didn’t occur.

I knew a fellow in Germany who was molested by his priest as a pre-teen. He told his mother and she told him not to repeat it to anyone else because of the damage it would do to the RCC.

Your's as well, Brother Frank. We are clearly responsible for our actions as individuals, not so much the actions of other people (unless we encourage wrongdoing) and definitely not those actions of our parents unless we continue in them.
You are right too that justice has a model that we as a society can use.
In the meantime, all these crowd source lies spouted by the media and politicians are becoming deafening. But the still, small voice of the Lord thru His word is the one to follow.
Thanks for praying for us! No solution yet but our child has improved somewhat.
Thanks brother! And yes my prayers for your child and you and your wife will continue.

From a RC site.

Vicar of Christ (Lat. Vicarius Christi), a title of the pope implying his supreme and universal primacy, both of honor and of jurisdiction, over the Church of Christ. It is founded on the words of the Divine Shepherd to St. Peter: “Feed my lambs… Feed my sheep” (John, xxi, 16, 17), by which He constituted the Prince of the Apostles guardian of His entire flock in His own place, thus making him His Vicar and fulfilling the promise made in Matt. xvi, 18, 19. In the course of ages other vicarial designations have been used for the pope, as Vicar of St. Peter and even Vicar of the Apostolic See (Pope Gelasius, I, Ep. vi), but the title Vicar of Christ is more expressive of his supreme headship of the Church on earth, which he bears in virtue of the commission of Christ and with vicarial power derived from Him. Thus, Innocent III appeals for his power to remove bishops to the fact that he is Vicar of Christ (cap. “Inter corporalia”, 2, “De trans. ep.”). He also declares that Christ has given such power only to His Vicar Peter and his successors (cap. “Quanto”, 3, ibid.), and states that it is the Roman Pontiff who is “the successor of Peter and the Vicar of Jesus Christ” (cap. “` Licet”, 4, ibid.).

How many of these events have happened, Jim? Your stats sound do but the numbers are actually small. Meanwhile, death in the inner-city that has nothing to do with white supremacists has run rampit, vastly overshadowing this "boogy man" of the Left's invention. While anyone who commits crimes needs to be prosecuted and incarcerated, your continual effort to muddy the waters is a crime in itself. Killing Truth and replacing reality with the CRT/Socialist meta-narrative is also wrong and you really ought to repent.
Great comment brother!

When blacks kill each other or rob each other, they are simply doing it because they have been put down and are the victims of racism. Once someone has succumbed to this victim status, then they are no longer guilty of wrong doing; or their wrong doing is mitigated.

Victims are no longer responsible for things that happen to them.

No one will benefit if they tell Christ at the judgment that they are not individually responsible for their actions. There will be no "but my pastor told me this or that or "I did this because of my social class".

And, yes I am individually responsible if I am a racist.

Revelations 17:1 And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:

2 With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.

3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.

4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:

Those churches that do this are simply like secular businesses that send out questionnaires to neighborhoods to decide whether to open up in certain areas. I have also read where Rick Warren’s emergent church movement does this when they open up new churches. They ask them what they like to see happen in churches; what kind of music they like, etc.

These pseudo churches are led by hirelings.

Come quickly Lord Jesus, come quickly.

I have always thought that these Marxist riots and protests were actually designed to increase racism. If racism increases then violence and discontent increases. And if those things continue, then the change these groups really want will indeed take place. A socialist form of government is the end game for sure.

Rahm Emanuel and others have used this thought: “You never want a serious crisis to go to waste. And what I mean by that is an opportunity to do things that you think you could not do before.”

As Stalin did, they tell the low income citizens that it is not their fault they don’t have what the rich have; it is because the rich have taken advantage of them and are keeping them down. This is actually a play on words because it is the rich who sponsor and encourage this change. A billionaire will normally die rich regardless of the society they live in. The rich will simply have more money, power and control. The middle class will lose it all.

I just hope and pray this doesn’t result in a real race war. That is a real possibility.

Hebrews 13:5 "Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee."

Many "Reformed" churches need reforming, apparently.
I once did a study on MLK’s personal life and his theology. My firm conviction was he was not a Christian. I remember once visiting a church and the pastor decided to preach on how moral King was. I got up immediately, gave him a look that was not meant to be nice, and then walked out.

And I’m sure most realize that any politician or media personality would quickly lose their jobs if they spoke the truth about him. And this negative thought is also noteworthy in our pulpits.
