Praise the Lord that you are doing what literally all pastors should be doing; obeying God rather than man. Regardless of what mankind can do to you, it is all in Godâs perfect plan for you and for His church.
The below is easier said than done, but it still applies to all.
Acts 5:29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.
Matthew 5:10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. 12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
Great Sermon! Great message pastor. The Jezebel spirit has infiltrated the church of our Lord and Savior and too few are speaking out against it. The feminist movement simply distorts scripture to give credence to their Jezebel spirits. Pastors who speak out against it will have their congregations diminish; husbands who speak out against it will have disunity; Christians who speak out against it will be ostracized. Praise the Lord that you understand this movement and speak out against it.
Great Sermon! What a wonderful message and what a blessing to me. I have often lapsed into anxiety over circumstances in my life and this Pastor made me understand why that should never happen. If we truly believe that Christ loves us and controls our destinies, then we will live in peace.
Great Sermon! What a wonderful and truthful message! The church must never compromise truth for social acceptance. Doing that will result in the dummying down of the gospel of Christ and will render us powerless to serve our Lord. Pastor John spoke wonderfully about the freedoms we as Christian have and should publically proclaim regardless of the consequences. Truth is always love. Matthew 5:10 âBlessed are those who have been persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11 âBlessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. 12 Rejoice and be glad, for your reward in heaven is great; for in this same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
Great Sermon! What a great message! I have not lost a child, but all of us as we get older have lost loved ones. Grieving as this pastor noted is not wrong and simply represents our love for our lost one. I have often poorly tried to comfort those that mourned, but thanks to this message it will never happen again. Thanks pastor for your thoughts on this subject.
Great Sermon! What a great and powerful sermon that is certainly applicable for today. We should be strangers and aliens in this lost and fallen world.
Mark 7:6 And He said to them, âRightly did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written: âThis people honors Me with their lips, But their heart is far away from Me. 7 âBut in vain do they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the precepts of men.â 8 âNeglecting the commandment of God, you hold to the tradition of men.â
The newly-released report indicates that deaths which the Nigerian government describes as random banditry or inter-tribal violence, actually result from radical Islamists attacking Christians,
The above is from the article.
Now this is somewhat off topic. I have a Christian friend who lives in Germany. He says that the Muslim communities that live there often go into German villages and shop lift. When owners call the police; they are never arrested and they donât report their crimes; so they donât show up as a statistic against the Muslims. They also harass women and grope them and those crimes are not reported either.
I guess they are simply trying to justify their political immigration positions?
Yes, we all compromise in this area; perhaps not intentionally. I sometimes use the expression âgayâ instead of homosexual. I then catch myself and find myself correcting myself. And whenever a news article describes someone as a male, I also find myself saying male even though they were born female. But once again if I realize what I have done, I correct myself.
Iâm not sure why that happens to me, but it is almost reflexive. But anyone who intentionally does this, is guilty of sinning.
1 Corinthians 11:9 Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.
God designed women to be for men.
Genesis 2:18 And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
Someone who is supposed to help man, not co-rule with man.
1 Corinthians 11:7 For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.
Once again, a woman was designed to be for the man; not the other way around.
1 Peter 3:7 Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.
Women are weaker vessels. Any reader of this can fill in what they believe the Holy Spirit is referring to as âweakerâ.
2 Timothy 3:6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
women are easily led away.
I suppose the Holy Spirit was a Patriarchal misogynist. Just ignore my personal comments.
1 Timothy 2:9, Likewise, I want women to adorn themselves with proper clothing, modestly and discreetly, not with braided hair and gold or pearls or costly garments, 10 but rather by means of good works, as is proper for women making a claim to godliness. 11 A woman must quietly receive instruction with entire submissiveness. 12 But I do not allow a woman to teach or exercise authority over a man, but to remain quiet. 13 For it was Adam who was first created, and then Eve. 14 And it was not Adam who was deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression. 15 But women will be preserved through the bearing of children if they continue in faith and love and sanctity with self-restraint.
Let us just ponder that the Holy Spirit is saying women should dress modestly, show good works, receive (not give) instruction quietly; that means in a non-argumentative manner. Women are to bear children; not abort them. And lastly letâs notice this is to be done with self-restraint.
Okay feminists, I know there are exceptions like teaching younger women and their children. Lets use those to undo the rest of what God said.
Jezebelâs spin what they are doing and most donât recognize them. They give praise when praise is not due and criticism when criticism is not warranted. Men accept the praise, but they donât realize the praise and criticism are from the same source.
Someone who has the Jezebel spirit will give lip service to the below and anyone who genuinely preaches this concept will be attacked.
1 Corinthians 11:3 âBut I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.â
Try rearranging the above to say that man is the head of Christ. They know that doesnât work so they just compartmentalize when this verse is appropriate thus giving them the power to pick and choose.
They accuse men of being misogynists when they are misandrists. Do you know that my spell check didnât have the word misandrist. That says a lot. ď
God created mankind as male and female. No surgery or drugs can change that. A male regardless of his gender choice will never have an egg and a female regardless of their gender choice will never have sperm.
And men will always be stronger.
Isaiah 3:9 The shew of their countenance doth witness against them; and they declare their sin as Sodom, they hide it not. Woe unto their soul! for they have rewarded evil unto themselves.
Marcus G wrote: Thankyou Frank. There certainly seems to be an anti-Christ agenda! The thing is, it's happened so fast. I think the whole western world is the same. Little things creep in, then the avalanche begins.
I agree, I liken it to opening up Pandoraâs Box. Once that is done it cannot be closed again. Using a more biblical perspective, it happens when we make compromises and then those compromises lead to more compromises and then to what we are seeing today. You are right about the Western world. I believe that the prosperity we have is one of the contributing factors.
Romans 3:8 And why not say, âLet us do evil that good may comeâ?âas we are slanderously reported and as some affirm that we say. Their condemnation is just.
Galatians 5:9 A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.
And of course we then have our hyper-Calvinists who simply believe nothing we do matters.
Marcus G wrote: I'm a Victorian - and it's amazing that things have come to this!! I sent emails to our politicians before the vote and received one reply. In the end, not one person voted against the bill! If the bill ends up being voted in when the next House votes, then this is the first time ever (that I know of) for this country to actually have parts of Scripture against the law! Prayer will be illegal in certain situations and a parent cannot talk to their child about their sexuality - unless, of course, it is to encourage anti-God behaviour. We read about these sort of events in Scripture. It looks like they're coming here faster than we could have imagined!
Thanks for the information Marcus! The entire world is going down that path. To me it means the end is getting closer and closer. I don't know much about Australia, but it does sound like they have an anti-Christ agenda.
Jeremiah 5:22 'Do you not fear Me?' declares the LORD. 'Do you not tremble in My presence? For I have placed the sand as a boundary for the sea, An eternal decree, so it cannot cross over it. Though the waves toss, yet they cannot prevail; Though they roar, yet they cannot cross over it.
Genesis 8:22 âWhile the earth remains, Seedtime and harvest, And cold and heat, And summer and winter, And day and night Shall not cease.â
Psalms 93:1 The LORD reigns, He is clothed with majesty; The LORD has clothed and girded Himself with strength; Indeed, the world is firmly established, it will not be moved. 2 Your throne is established from of old; You are from everlasting.
Colossians 1:16 For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authoritiesâall things have been created through Him and for Him. 17 He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.
Hebrews 1:2 in these last days has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world. 3 And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power âŚ
John Lee wrote: Bro, I'm sure it must grieve the Holy Spirit, to see the way in which women have gone, in the last 100 years or so. I am noticing it more and more these days, how God's plan for men and women has been subtly reversed, which just shows from where the movement came from in the first place. You are well versed in this subject, and I am seeking to catch up, bit by bit, lest I myself become a man who is disappointing to God in this area.
Yes brother, they were emancipated when there was no need to emancipate. I have heard many preachers say regarding how women were formed. They say something like: "notice it doesn't say they came from Adam's foot.
IMO, the church should be ashamed of itself for thinking that being submissive to their husbands as unto the Lord is some sort of put-down. And having gentle and quiet spirits is meant only when you enter a church. That is compartmentalizing sin.
P.S. yes Adam was not deceived, but his loyalties were divided. Besides Adam is our federal head; not Eve. Eve's sin could not have been passed down to all mankind. Lastly, how could he have protected Eve? It there was a way, it would be considered misogynistic. :-)
Jim Lincoln wrote: It doesn't matter how pro-choice Biden and Harris are, (there's a link in the Atlantic article about Biden) as long as the woman can freely choose if she has an abortion or not then the responsibility is hers â
Jim, you have no idea how clueless you are. You are saying if politicians say it is okay to murder someone, they bear no responsibility because someone else does the murder. So laws have no value. All you are doing is saying a woman has a "right to choose".
There is "never" a circumstance that supports the murder of an innocent baby.
"When the life of the mother is truly threatened by her pregnancy, if both lives cannot simultaneously be saved, then saving the motherâs life must be the primary aim. If through our careful treatment of the motherâs illness the pre-born patient inadvertently dies or is injured, this is tragic and, if unintentional, is not unethical and is consistent with the pro-life ethic. But the intentional killing of an unborn baby by abortion is never necessary."
John Lee wrote: Yes indeed, Frank. When the Lord made woman he made something quite remarkable, and he is to be praised for it. Her role in life was set, and for a while she took that role, and all was well in the garden. She was a help for the man, and he appreciated her. There was no aggravation, no arguments, no usurping of the authority of the man. It was clear what God's plan was, and in the relationship God had with his people, all was well, and all was good. Until she sinned. And women ever since have been trying to get right away from their God-given role, and live a life of their own choosing, often including the teaching of men.
John Lee wrote: I love the whole idea of freedom of speech, unlike some who sit on their throne like a queen, making her demands, claiming infallible doctrine, censuring good, Christian men, throwing her weight about like a good evangelical feminist does, full of venom and hatred, like she has always done, for years, on this forum, and now has male followers and disciples who submit and bow the knee to her as their queen and mentor.
Yes brother, the feminist movement is from the god of this world. The great whore term obviously stems from and refers to this movement. There is nothing that can be done about it, but that doesnât mean we should support or promote it like some men do on this forum. Men are primarily responsible for this movement and that would include me. Jezebels need them and they can easily get them. All they have to do is say good post brother.
The below verse is often forgotten and leads to compromise.
Galatians 5:9 A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.
Jim is not my enemy, he is Godâs enemy. I donât know Jim personally and he has never done anything to me or my loved ones; so he canât be my personal enemy.
He is also not my neighbor. A neighbor is someone that I know personally or someone who lives in my community. Someone I can personally interact with.
There is a time to love and a time to hate.
2 Chronicles 19:2 âAnd Jehu the son of Hanani the seer went out to meet him, and said to king Jehoshaphat, Shouldest thou help the ungodly, and love them that hate the LORD? therefore is wrath upon thee from before the LORD.â
Ezra 9:12. âSo now do not give your daughters to their sons nor take their daughters to your sons, and never seek their peace or their prosperity, that you may be strong and eat the good things of the land and leave it as an inheritance to your sons forever.â
Proverbs 5:5 The boastful shall not stand before Your eyes; You hate all who do iniquity. 6 You destroy those who speak falsehood; The LORD abhors the man of bloodshed and deceit.
Proverbs 12:22 Lying lips are an abomination to the LORD, But those who deal faithfully are His delight.
1 Samuel 2:25. "If one man sins against another, God will mediate for him; but if a man sins against the LORD, who can intercede for him?"
