Yes! The Truth Yes, I left my name out on this comment because of the state of America at this time but this sermon needs to be heard by all Christians. It is the truth of today and things are much worse now than in 2017 when this was recorded. Sadly, it is actually dangerous to say the truthful things said in this great sermon which is the truth. God Is Not Mocked!
Great Sermon! Good points. I believe the obesity epidemic is a reflection of us turning away from God in how we grow and produce food. Our food is depleted of nutrients, processed in a way that makes it addictive and unsatisfying and has additives that should never be considered food. When I used to eat that way I was always hungry! Gatorade is a perfect example of something that should not be consumed, but I too used to think it necassary. The only way to beat the obesity epidemic is to turn back to God and get to work in our kitchens and source nutrient dense food.
Great Sermon! Both carbs and being sedentary are the culprit. Hundreds of years ago people eat less and move a lot (no cars, media, etc.). Fruits and other foods were scarce. They eat what the grow.
Exercising alone will not help if you do not consider the food you eat.
Wake Up Call If anyone hasn't been paying attention John Piper is a Woke pastor who has subtly introduced socialism into the conservative Baptist churches in particular, along with superficial New Calvinism, watering down Orthodoxy until it's finally degraded. Along with his social justice, based on human philosophy instead of the word of God, comes accommodation to tyrannical Authority and a misunderstanding of loving your neighbor, which is simply man-pleasing and politically easier.
PC Christianity is the broadway that leads to destruction of both Christian Salvation and Liberty.
Great Sermon! This was very interesting! I was thinking how thankful I was that we haven't used any of these products in over 6 years. I would hate to think of supporting such wickedness. The Lord has blessed us with better health too by avoiding the junk! Praise the Lord!!
Great Sermon! Love this! I did a blog post yesterday and I shared how our family processed our first cow. We shot it in the pasture while it was grazing and very relaxed. There was no stress which is good for the animal and quality of meat. There is work being done to breed the stress gene out of animals for this reason. I shared that we need to quit trying to play God in the lab and start raising animals in nonstressful environments. We are to be good stewards of God's creation.
Great Sermon! I'm amazed at how many Christians have this attitude that the government and Big Pharma is only there to help and any errors they make are down to "human error."
So I guess the FDA having deliberately purchased aborted baby parts was "human error"?
Christians need to wake up to the evils that have permeated society today.
The CV-19 vax is being mandated yet it remains an experimental, emergency use authorized only injection. It's being treated as though it was fully authorized and not in any way experimental.
Put it to the test In Rom 13, His instrument of vengeance is the sword and the rod of iron of Rev 19 wielded by the son of man. All the sinners of my people shall die by the sword (Amos 9:10-12, cf Acts 15:15-18).
There's no biblical warrant for Rom 13 to be a reference to civil magistrates. Its simply a misunderstanding of whom bears the sword and furthermore what the sword even is.
Rom 13:4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for **he beareth not the sword in vain:** for he is the minister of God, **a revenger to execute wrath** upon him that doeth evil.
Here’s a quick test. If the above "minister of God" is a reference to secular authorities, then why is that same revenger - which revealed wrath in Rom 1:18- said to have come from heaven?
Rom 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed** from heaven** against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness.
Great Sermon! This is a great time to come together as Christians and help each other out. We need to think Biblically.
1. We could stop supporting huge corporations and start supporting small local businesses that do not tyrannize us, even if it means paying a little more.
2. We can grow or learn how to grow food and be less dependent on the world’s systems.
3. We could open up the church to those that lose their jobs because of their refusal to get the shot.
4. If we get laser focused on what a need verses a want is, we will have more to help the people that are going to lose their jobs. We could give up things like vacations, costly entertainment, eating out, etc. This would allow us to have more to help our brothers and sisters in Christ so they can leave a job if they do not want to take an experimental shot (one that uses aborted fetal cells to create which is the sin of murder). It would be best if we could do it in a way that they still have to work for the money.
5. We must repent of seeing the medical community as our God, and start seeking the Lord.
6. Most importantly we must be on our knees seeking the Lord’s wisdom and protection.

Looking at our current culture can be a little scary, but it's so good to get a Biblical perspective from your program. I'm sure this isn't easy. where is his repentance for these sins?
King David repented, we see no such repentance with Ravi.
Great Sermon! Should there even be a title 'Southern' Baptist since it was formed following a rift with their northern counterparts over slavery? Admittedly, racism exists in church in the North as well. But the damage being caused even in the body of Christ is sinful, diabolical, evil in pure form and should be denounced at all costs. Also, titles such as Ukranian, Korean, Chinese, African Methodist, etc. are racially earmarked and should be abolished. Titles used to locate body of believers is most appropriate and unifies states, cities, boroughs, townships, streets, etc. Most people would be reluctant to walk into any church below the Mason Dixie Line without diligent research, if there were of color. Southern in a title immediately draws a line in the mind. No wonder people don't want the opinions of Christians in the North or South anymore. There is too much division over racial lines.
Great Sermon! I would like to add to the list of investments. Let's invest in a little land so we can grow some food for our families and others. Let's invest in skills to grow and prepare the food. Let's stop supporting big businesses that pay slave labor and try to control everyone and start investing in small local businesses. Let's invest in our neighbors by loving them and sharing the gospel. 😀
