“ Glad you included this ”
I was wondering what would drive a church to change its name. Actually, at first I was surprised that you had changed churches until I looked closer. After listening it makes perfect sense.

“ Outstanding treatment ”
This passage has always been thrown carelessly around without considering what Jesus is really saying. Caldwell takes it one word at a time in the proper context and finds the true meaning of the passage. It is refreshing to hear an approach to scripture that just lets the scripture speak without adding a twist or preconceived notion. I highly recommend this series of messages.

“ Great Sermon! ”
Very good sermon, and much needed sound advice! Sorry to say, many so called "believers" are just being deceived because they have never really trusted in the imputed righteousness of Christ for an eternal justification in the sight of God!

A Forgotten Sin

“ Thank you ”
I appreciated this teaching on Oath Taking and what it all means biblically. I got a lot out of your examples of Paul, Abraham and others taking oaths. It was also great that you focused us on the fact that God took oaths too. It is so important that we take our commitments and vows seriously. So many of us forget that taking the Lord's name in vain is really when we do not take him seriously. When we vow something and then don't do it, it is a strong statement about our faith... or lack there of. This was a very thought provoking sermon! God Bless you Pastor Richard.

Sermon:
Applying The Principles
Richard Caldwell Jr.

“ A thoroughly helpful teaching series on a an extremely important subject! ”
The way we view an issue and then from that how we subsequently handle it can be skewed if we are just being reactive by solely trying to address problems that occur. So rather than just attempting to tackle the thorny issue of divorce and re-marriage alone, Richard is keen to first lay a clear biblical foundation as to what exactly the scriptures teach on marriage. This works so well because having seen positively what The Lord has given us in the wonderful gift of marriage the issues around it can then be addressed correctly. Importantly, he also positively looks at singleness which rather than being a second-rate option is rightly shown to be as equally a gift from the Lord as marriage to those to whom the Lord has called to be single. We are good at “spiritualising” issues but seem reluctant to offer the practical biblical guidance that people need and Richard does not shy away doing this. However, this is a deeply sensitive area and Richard not only handles it practically and directly but also sensitively and compassionatly. Because it is important to see the whole purpose of marriage first it does mean taking more time but this is an issue that deserves the time needed and I strongly recommend Richard's biblically thorough and compassionate first-class treatment of it.

“ Excellent and Convicting!` ”
This is the very first sermon I listened to, preached by Rev. Richard Caldwell. I can't tell you how probing and practical this message really was to me. It felt like the Holy Spirit led me right to this particular message! I have since downloaded the entire series on Ruth. I highly recommend it! This message causes us to look at our lives and to realize it is never a wise choice to run from tough circumstances. How hard it is to be still sometimes, and to see just what God is trying to teach us in our troubles. Don't run away and take a "sinful sojourn"! Stick it out and see what God can do for you! Thank you Pastor Richard!

“ Thank You For This Challenging Sermon! ”
I have been listening to this entire series on the book of James. This particular message is so important for all true followers of Christ. Pastor Richard's message has challenged me to always ask the Holy Spirit to examine me and seek out any impure way in me. I have been convicted to examine my motives lately. And this message came at just the right time... Thanks Pastor Richard. God Bless You!

“ Great Sermon! ”
In this sermon, Caldwell provides some Biblical facts to keep in mind when we are witnessing. Very good, in fact. He also provides an excellent analysis of what's missing from 'The Passion of the Christ' and how what was really happening on the cross can't be captured by Hollywood. But there's much food for thought here, so don't think I've adequately summarized this installment in this fine, fine series! Tune it; it will make your spirit excited for the Lord as the preaching cleans out the cogs in the brain and replaces it with God's solid, biblical truth. Amazing.

“ Great Sermon! ”
I am currently listening to these series on Romans in my commute to and from work and I highly recommend it! I have heard the first 4 sermons so far and I have been blessed by the expository preaching--if you want to get indepth into this wonderful book, then listen to this series. This is, so far, one of the best, most thorough presentations of the Book of Romans I have heard. It is an awesome overview of what the historic Christian church has always believed and why. Thank you for making these series available!!!

“ Very Convincing... ”
While I recommend listening to all 12 sermons in this series, I especially recommend this sermon in particular. Because of this sermon I am no longer a believer in the teaching that says you can get a divorce from your wife if she commits adultery.

“ Great Sermon! ”
Good exposition on a difficult passage. Any religious system that teaches salvation has anything to do with doing good or living right- even when using scripture itself is no different than serving false gods.

“ Requested Forgiveness from Church ”
Thank-you so much for your godly insight to this topic. I had read the book and was hoping that it would take me into a more financial sound place.... But God had other plans. We had learn to rely on God, as we were out of work for 14 months. The hardest time however, the most blessed. After my husband received a job I heard this message, I was so overwhelmed with guilt, due to the fact that I had highly reccommended it to my church, in our Church Herald. I got up the following Sunday to ask for Forgiveness for my inability to discern the truth. It is humbling but God gave me the grace to do so. I listen to a sermon a day from your wealth of sermons, but not only listen but apply the truths that I have learned. Praise our Heavenly Father because of His willing servant.
