Sermon:
The Gift of Healing - Part 2

“ Great Sermon! ”
Great series, Richard. They are really helping me to see the way clearly through the fog and smoke of so many hyped up ideas of what Spiritual gifts really are. I'm starting to share your sermons as you suggested and finding I'm getting alot of negativity, which I expected because they haven't understand what spiritual gifts really are. One person suggested that an unexpected monetary gift was a spiritual gift...which only serves as a misinterpretation of scripture. Thanks again for your series. Looking forward to the next sermon. Roo

Great reminder in that just because we are in Christ, does not mean we are exempt from spiritual warfare. Stand firm also good instruction. Humility is the key to living well in Christ. Unless God touch our hearts, we are a stiff-necked, rebellious people, eternally separated from God. Thank you God for making me alive unto you through our Lord Jesus Christ.

“ Great Sermon! ”
I am realy enjoying this series on Corinthians. Richard is helping me to feel at ease in my spirit at what I have suspected all along about people who claim things that i have been very suspicious about. I had a bad experience one evening with a 'healing' situation, that i discerned was demonic, but was too shaken up to say anything at the time, but later i shared it with some people who were in it and they felt the same to a point, so it was good to clear the air. I hope to share Richard's sermons with them so they can see into what they believe. Thank you Richard, you are an excellent preacher.

The Practicality of Predictive Prophecy

“ Great Sermon! ”
It is good to hear someone say "what we are overlooking in our generation is that the effect of Truth is not always direct, it is more times than not indirect." It is possible to be interested in marriage, but not be concerned about God. Yet at the same time, it is impossible to be concerned about the whole council of God and not be concerned about marriage. The word of God, and the teaching of that word, is the sword that continues to divide our thoughts and attitudes even today. Thanks for teaching. I am glad I found your sermons on this site!

Discerning The Spirit's Work
Richard Caldwell Jr.

“ Great Sermon! ”
Thank you Richard. I really needed this. I have been struggling so much against the influences of the pentacostal movement and feeling like an alien, and now i know why. The Lord has clarified what is truely from the Holy Spirit. I have been totally blessed by this sermon. Please can you do another on this topic. It is really hard to discern what is of God when everyone has their own opinion of what comes from God, often taking scripture out of context to suit their viewpoint. I would rather wait on the Lord's leading. Please can you do a series on this. I love your preaching.

“ Great Sermon! ”
These sermons from Daniel are amazing. I never appreciated the literal interpretation of the events found in this book. I always thought the events were symbolism of some incomprehensible sort or even mystical writings. But Richards teaching has made this book come alive to me. He simply has a way of making God's word come alive. I am blessed to be able to hear these messages and I hope others are as well. Gods word is amazing...what can you say. Praise God

“ Great Sermon! ”
Richard is the best kept secret on sermon audio. This sermon should be preached in every church. Who we are in Christ, our maturity in our understanding of this, will dictate our joy here. There should be no quarreling amongst those who are in Christ, whether friend, spouse or any Christian relationship. This is a rich sermon. Richard is a great teacher and a gift from God to the body of Christ.

Highly recommend this God-honouring and Spirit-led message from our brother. After listening to the sermon, one prayer to God was that He would raise more vessels for His glory like our brother.

Unconditional Election

“ hear the truth ”
unconditional election is such a beautiful and precious truth. the reason so many are unwilling to accept this is because it conflicts with man's prideful and willful nature. who are we to say that we have authority over our own salvation when the scriptures clearly teach that God is sovereign over all of creation. that means us too! I rather am humbled that God would choose me who is such a filthy sinner, out of His mercy. is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid! but yes, we should proclaim the good news of the Gospel to whomever God puts in our path. for we know not who God's elect are, and we may be the vehicle which God has chosen to bring the light of Jesus to! just because we cannot understand fully, doesn't mean it isn't so. our finite minds cannot always grasp what God's infinite mind can. just trust.

Christ's Suffering & Ours
Richard Caldwell Jr.

“ enlightening ”
To quote or at least paraphrase Richard, "Martin Luther couldn't figure this out, but I have it nailed." He said it jokingly, but it illustrates the difficulty of understanding this passage. Your exposition of this passage has given me a lot to think about Richard. My interpretation of verse 18-22 was different. However, the way you illustrated who these spirits were, and used Scriptures (II Peter 2:1-6, Jude 6-7 and Genesis 6) appears to show exactly what you shared. I was not accepting that Christ preached in Hades, because He did not suffer there for our sins. He said on the cross that "it is finished." However, I see now that such a position does not mean that Jesus could not have gone there and proclaimed something to the Spirits. One question. I am not a Greek scholar. But doesn't the word for "made alive" in verse 18 mean to make alive/reanimate rather than keep alive? It is always edifying to listen to such excellent expository preaching.

Indeed the peace and joy that passes all understanding is one of the most compelling marks of a true believer. The joy of so great a salvation never stops and just seems to get deeper and deeper in my life. I was saved nearly 35 years ago.
