Arguing that we cannot trust our physical senses when we see or hear something, is a self-defeating argument. In order for Christian Science to communicate anything to us, we must use our senses. We must either hear or read, in order to understand what Mary Baker Eddy teaches. • If only good can come from God, where did evil come from? Either evil is real or, as Mary Baker Eddy says, is an illusion. If evil is a real illusion, then there would be no difference between an arm being cut off in illusion or reality. If reality is an illusion, why do Christian Scientists have practitioners help them with their illness. • Do you believe that Mary Baker Eddy was the only person who understood the true meaning of the Bible for two thousand years? • Are you aware of anybody, or any writing from antiquity that came to the same conclusions as Mary Baker Eddy? There is none. • Is there any indication at all that the early church believed as Mary Baker Eddy? • Why isn't there a single early church writing that supports the claims or doctrines of Christian Science? • What evidence do we have that Mary Baker Eddy's interpretation of the bible is correct? • If God is all good, why didn't he write a Bible that simply taught the doctrines of Christian Science? • If God is all good, and Christian Science is true, why wasn't Mary Baker Eddy, Jesus and the apostles more effective in spreading the gospel of C
