This simple statement about wisdom and humility should be marked upon the mind of every person who aspires to power and influence. We are surrounded by a cult of personal greatness that demands that all the world bow to the self-important, the egomaniac, the exalted recipient of public accolades… but all too often the "great ones" are merely people with a platform and nothing real to communicate. We have fallen prey to the technology that allows all the world a chance to scream into the void, without ever asking if they have anything worth saying! We judge a person's narrative by the panache displayed in its presentation, rather than considering the content of what is actually said, or done, or created. It would be much better for us ALL to remember that true wisdom comes only from God. He alone possesses the ability to judge good and evil, right and wrong, true and false. He alone possesses the character of absolute goodness… and He alone calls us to Himself and gives us the promise that He will give us His wisdom if we will only ask him for it. This wisdom is simply defined: Fear of the Lord is its beginning (this He freely bestows on all who ask). What is more, He promises that if we will but live our lives in accordance to His wisdom, (ie: to depart from evil) then that wisdom will have an effect in our lives… We will be made better for having it. We will find that His wisdom is ultimately GOOD for us. We simply obey God, and our lives are made better, our hope is made better, our souls are made better, WE are made better!! Rather than virtue signaling, race baiting, or participating in the cancellation of all who do not agree with the current public fictitious narrative, let us aspire to live lives that accord with godliness. Beloved, this is as simple as it gets; Seek God, do what He says, live lives that are worth living, enjoy the manifest blessing of God!!!
