“ Obedience causes insight ” Among the points made in this message, Dr. Walicord explains that if there is no obedient heart, then there is no insight. But if there is an obedient heart, there will be insight. And where there is insight, it leads to more obedience which in turn leads to more insight. And you have a wonderful circle upwards. This is a well-kept secret, that obedience causes insight, and this insight causes more obedience. You will not receive understanding, you will not receive wisdom, if you are not willing to submit your whole life under this insight, under this wisdom. As we obey, and receive more insight, and obey more, it's not only that we get smarter, but we also receive the Spirit. If you obey, you gain more insight.
“ Great Sermon! ” Dr. Walicord's incisive analysis concerning the the shared substance of the Old and New Covenants points to the overarching continuity in God's dealings with sinful man; namely, that they have always been an exercise of grace. From God's stooping down from Heaven to reveal Himself to Abraham whilst he was still dwelling with his pagan relatives in Ur of the Chaldees, to the mighty works he wrought to deliver the Hebrews out of the land of Egypt and gather them to Himself, to the quickening of faith in Joshua and Caleb that the LORD would do all that He had promised and deliver the land into the hands of Israel; each and every one of these instances was a result of God's gracious condescension and provision.
This message is one that ought to be listened to time and again; it is the remedy to a whole host of confusions in the Church today, from neo-nomianism to dispensationalism. Even in the Reformed camp (I speak here of Klinean reading of the Mosaic covenant), it is crucial that we get a solid grasp on this central hermeneutical truth.
“ Gracious God Indeed! ” This is a very timely series which I finished hearing this Lord's Day and my intellect, will, and affections were moved by God, toward God and my compassion was stirred for my fellow men. What else can I say but: Thank you brother!
“ Great God! ” I will quote from this sermon and this is just the beginning of what you need to hear.
“God matures Jonah through severe hardship and suffering. Immature Jonah thinks he can flee from the presence of the Lord, then severe suffering, fear, anxiety, and crisis. Immature Jonah then becomes a grateful and mature servant of God. Suffering and hardship are God's chief means to sanctify you these are his tools. That is why we are told to count the cost. If there wasn't any cost what do you want to count. The Christian life is hard. It is not easy gliding into heavenly place, it is hardship, it is persecution, it is suffering, it is molding and shaping, it is rubbing off edges of us; through suffering, through hardship, through loss, through pain, through frustrated expectations, through conflicts, through sleepless nights, through disappointment that is how God turns vile sinners into saints.”

“ Great Sermon! ” I want thank the Pastor for the message preached 5-29-22. What a blessing to have gospel preaching with boldness and compassion. I am thankful the Lord continues to provide preachers who are not afraid of men. Men who know they are accountable to the Lord God alone.
“ Listen & Praise ye the Lord ” The Scripture says: Pro_29:2Â When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.
Praise ye the LORD! for His Universal Church
and His gifts to her. I rejoice for men like this brother. A quick look of his info and listening to him tells me I AM who I AM sent him and at such a time.
And though I mourn for the nation and the assault upon all men: For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places, yet we have the throne of Most High God thru Christ, by the strength and assistance of the Holy Spirit to whom we can make our appeal whether as His subjects or His children.
“ Humility ” Brother Sacha always brings such passion and zeal for God’s Word and how he exegetes Scripture. He constantly gives the honor to Christ and to God’s Glory in his preaching. It is always refreshing to hear him preach. I am a pastor also but I love listening to others preach because I love God’s Word and you can tell he loves God’s Word also. Lord I ask that you continue to Bless him in his call.
