1000x Amen! What a brilliant sermon! Sam Gipp, with all his delicious abrasiveness, defends the name and honour of King James Stewart. This is a must listen for proponents and opponents alike. The actual sermon doesn't start until the 1:03:30 mark.
Great Sermon! The book. The written word IS best because it can be read Nywhere anytime without electricity or other devices...this is a brilliant truth.....God is amazing..Thankyou
Very Good! How often I've heard people who were interviewed for doing something good (from a really tiny kid to an old, old person) say, "I'm so proud of me." And sometimes it's so easy to see how prideful other people can be and miss seeing me because I'm not standing near a mirror.
Doer of the work! I have gone back to listen to this message when I am struggling with a besetting sin in my way of being closer with Christ! I appreciate bro. Sowell. His doctrines are BIBLE doctrines and he is a strong influence and help for me! Praise God for putting men like him in positions to minister to us!
Blessed message!!! Brother Sowell,
I want to tell you, how much of a blessing that you have been to me, in the ministry that God has given you!!! Going to miss hearing you on sermon audio, but God has certainly blessed me through the preaching of His word, that He has given to you, to preach!
Praying for you and your family always and will continue praying. So from the bottom of my heart, Thank you and may God continue to bless you and your wife and family!!!
Enjoy your time in the direction that the Lord Jesus Christ will lead!!!
Covenant Theology Covenant Theology doesn't teach children are saved because their parents are saved that's a strawman argument and one that is just not a true representation of what Covenant theology is
Great Sermon! Thanks Preacher Sowell!
That was bar none, the best message on Romans Ch. 7 that I have ever heard explained!!!
I tought that I was crazy all this time, because of those same thoughts you preached about, but now, I know that I am. Lol.
Thank God for His matchless grace!!!
Finally! Thank you! For my twenty years as a Christian, I haven't been as victorious as I'd like to be or ideally should be because I've been "putting off the jacket" and "putting on" a nicer coat instead. I spend so much time being unsuccessful with those two that I've never really gotten as far as "putting away."
This explanation is so much easier, and in Christ's strength, attainable. I can "put off" doing those things the flesh demands by waiting till tomorrow because I'm already a highly skilled procrastinator. I can "put on" because as with preaching, so with special music in church and other stuff in life so I know what it is to pretend.
That leaves "putting away," and my closets already attest to my ability to accomplish that when I need to tidy up....
Encouraging message.
Much appreciated.
Great Sermon! Such a powerful and inspiring sermon! Although I have never been, I can tell that the Word of God is alive and well at Hope Baptist Church!
Great study in Genesis Bro sowell,,I love to hear you teach and preach..I have listen to preaching tapes on you for years..I thank God to have preachers like you..David Peacock and Dovanon on sermons audio because we don't have teaching and preaching like yours around here..anyway , I love this Genesis study..I have studied with dr Ruckman on it in Bible school..I cannot say I have ever heard that Adam Eve could have had kids before the fall..my question you have left my mind to wonder about..and I love thinking upon Gods word..is if they did have kids wouldn't they have been sinless ? What happened to them durning the flood..would they been able to marrywith Adam and Eve's sinful offsprings..I can't remember where maybe johns gospel where Jesus said there are other sheep not of this fold could he have been talking about the first children there..please don't think I am crazy but just love the untold between the lines of Gods word..I love the deep hidden things ..hope I haven't confused you with my question and hope you find the time to respond back. Thank you and thanks for being one of the few faithful preacher left.God bless you and your ministery
Noble Bereans "These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so." Acts 17:11
As the Bereans faithfully examined the scriptures to ensure that the apostle Paul's message was based on truth, so must we search the scriptures as Christians today to prove that what is being taught is correct. As for God's omniscience, the attribute of being all knowing, every good Berean can start with just this handful of many scriptures declaring this to be so: Mat 11:27, John 10:15, 1 Cor 2:10-11, Isaiah 40:13-14, Job 21:22, Rom.11:33-34, 1 Cor. 2:16, Mat.10:30, Luke 12:7, Psalm 147:4, Isaiah 40:26, Deut.29:29, Job 37:15-16, Dan. 2:22, Mat. 24:36, Mark 13:32, Acts 1:7, 2 Cor. 12:2-4, Job 34:21, Job 24:23, Job 31:4, Psalm 33:13-15, Psalm 139:2-3, Jer. 23:24, Mat. 6:8, Luke 12:29-30, 1 Chron. 28:9, Psalm 44:20-21, Psalm 139:1-2, and 1 Peter 1:2.
Great Sermon! This was a very uplifting sermon and sooooo true. Thank you Pastor Richard. I sent this sermon also to others. Yes I will do something that matters to the Lord today !
Great Sermon! The word among means surrounded by. A doctor can be among a room full of patients, but that does not mean he is a patient. If satan was a son of God then he still is. I don't think so.
