Great Sermon! One cool fact about this psalm is that the heading in my Bible days a psalm for the sons of Korah. Remember what happened to Korah in Numbers 16 when they rebelled against God and Moses? God opened up the earth and they went down to the pit, but God gave everyone a chance of Korahs family and friends to move to safety.
First. Obviously, the Sons of Korah, chose to follow God. That would have been hard for them but God honors them by attributing several psalms to them.
Great Sermon! Amen, Pastor Mike. There is a fountain filled with blood drawn from Emanuels veins and sinners plunged beneath that flood lose all their guilty stains. My Pastor referenced that song this morning, as well. I love the history behind it. William Cowper wrote it. He struggled with doubt for years until one day he read that verse in Roman's about having faith in the blood of Jesus. He realized it wasn't anything he did,or ever could do. It was just faith in the blood. Then he wrote that song. Thank you. Have a blessed week. Grace and peace from our Lord Jesus Christ ðŸ™
Great Sermon! Pastor Mike, your message helped me. I'm going through a lot of what you spoke about. It's so hard because I want to be about my Father's business but I'm so cast down right now. This is not a time to slack my riding so I'm trying to keep moving forward but it seems like I'm just going through the motions. I feel like the LORD showed me through your message that He sees me and hears me. Thank you.
Great Sermon! Pastor Ragan. What a great message. This is something that has just happened to us. Our oldest grandson decided to get married, on a Sunday. We declined to come because it was Sunday. If it’s been Saturday then ok. Ex daughter-in-law plans. It hurts because it ends up excluding our side of family. Thank you for this message. It really helped.
Great Sermon! Dear Pastor Mike, thank you so much for this sermon. It really helped me. Honestly I was about ready to just give up. But the Lord knows just what his children need to keep going. I'm so thankful you said that about just going through the motions because that's what it feels like sometimes when your heart is just not in it or you're weary in well doing. I'm thankful the Lord has helped me to keep going and being in my place even when I didn't feel like it. I'm in a full blown depression but I have to keep going because there are people watching my life I have to keep going for them. I know you don't know me and I'm not one of your congregation but if you would have a moment just to say a prayer for me I would appreciate it. This Christian Life is a constant battle. We see that perfectly in the book of Nehemiah and how the enemy kept coming at him trying to defeat him but he just kept going. We serve the same God that Nehemiah did in his days so I know that the LORD will strengthen my hands just like you did Nehemiah's. Thank you again. God bless
Great help This message has helped me a lot. I come back to listen on a regular basis. I thank the Lord for giving you this message and thank you pastor Ragan for preaching it
