“ Needful Sermon ” This sermon is needful for all Christians. We all run around saying that we need to repent, what do we need to repent of? Rev.Pollard gives something that we all need to repent of. We all tend to be overly attached to this world. As Pastor Pollard pointed out, this world passes away. He also defines what the world is. Thank you, Pastor Pollard!
“ Great Sermon! ” Solid teaching that is so important to be listened to by father of both sons and daughters: providing wisdom in terms of what a daughter should look for in a Christian man, and guidance for sons in what they need to be as fathers. Powerful teaching and so important for this day and age.

Really appreciate the way Pastor Baucham brought out the different stages in child development and the need to train differently during each stage. So many parents miss this, or get it backwards. Also brought to light things that we have been letting slip in our family. Good reminder to strive for consistency.

“ Fantastic Series! ” Jeff Pollard does a fantastic job teaching the doctrines of Grace. He is the first preacher I have heard teach on this subject, and it is well worth the time to listen to the whole series.

With such practical warmth, Pastor Pollard calls God's people to hear God's Word; and to open their homes to their brethren. In a day of seeing each other at worship services only, this message encourages an extended fellowship of the saints with their local brethren and with visitors. This truly is the one another of scripture. May God help us to be a more hospitable people.
“ Words of Exhortation. ” I do not have a local church in which to fellowship and be discipled so I am grateful for having internet access to such Christ-honouring preaching and teaching. I have always had an urgency to "number our days" and even more so as the days in which we live grow more evil. I have been spending the past week rejoicing over Psalm 139 but Pastor Pollard's exhortation from Psalm 90 was what I truly needed to hear, today. "... thou art God" from verse two made me take note of how I have sinned by not trusting God more with the "outcome" of my daily affairs. It is so difficult to watch those you love take God's grace and mercy for granted. But then, " ... thou art God" is a reminder of God's awesome providence. Thank you for this wonderful reminder and may others be blessed and nourished from God's holy Word!
“ finally ” It is very hard to find a sermon on I timothy 6: 1,2 i.e. that slaves are required by the command of Christ to count their masters worthy of all honor so that they be not guilty of the sin of blasphemy. This was the issue that separated the baptists, methodists and presbyterians prior to the civil war. Shocking that almost all preachers avoid the main thing that is destroying the church today. Robert Lewis Dabney saw this Judaism as the main enemy within the church. If we fail to honor our parents (kings, slavemasters etc.) we will live a short life and things will not go well with us. The churches failure to uphold God ordained authority like slavemasters and kings and husbands etc. is perhaps the fundamental reason our culture is sliding toward Gomorrah.

I feel I have known them a long time having done narrations for the Chapel Library since 1985. The amount of work they do for the kingdom is almost beyond my comprehension.
I have left a biographical sketch about Jeff Pollard before, and God's amazing grace to him from his past that was similar to my own, since he was a former musician.

but I can't say enough about how I cherish him as a friend and a brother in Christ. He is self taught as a pastor, but lacks neither urgency nor acumen to expound the Bible. I am glad his preaching is already being well received here. TMS - Michigan
