So encouraging! I have been regularly listening to the messages of Dr Mark Allison, and the Lord has been pleased to encourage me greatly through these. They have increased my hunger for the Word, and have brought me nigh to God.
Great contrast. Great contrast between the walk of a Christian and the walk of un unregenerate man. The Christian has a new nature, he lives by faith, in union with Christ.
Great Sermon! Isn't it important the way the phrase "so that" in v4 is used? Doesn't it require that the temple Paul speaks of is, indeed spiritual? The Man of Sin exalts himself above God "so that" he sets himself up in the temple of God. In other words, the exaltation of this man puts him in the temple. Doesn't that wording make the spiritual meaning far more likely than the physical?
Your messages are a clear declaration of scripture and God's Truth. Thank you Dr. Allison, for your service!
Great lessons. God used the injustice of men to fulfil His plans of salvation. The Son of God suffered the injustice of men to save me. My thoughts turned also to my reactions to the injustices of men toward me - how much I have to learn in order to react as my Lord did!
Great salvation in Christ. Blessed message about the sufferings of our Savior, who endured the wrath of God, the curse of the Law and hell in our place, for our sins.
Great Sermon! An excellent sermon. A vital message that needs to be heard. The "doctrines of grace" are under attack even within professing Christianity. How very tragic.
Great encouragement. This was a blessed encouragement! The Shepherd dies for the disciples (and for us), raises from the dead and goes before them into Galilee. His love for them continues, the relationship continues, the work continues.
Great Sermon! Praise the Lord for Dr. Allison! This is one of the most powerful sermons on prenatal child-killing that I've heard! May the good Lord be pleased to bless this message and move many to listen and heed it's message to the American Church.
Useful. I agree with most of this sermon. I found especially helpful the argument that Christ, knowing perfectly the OT, did not found there an exact timing of His second coming. You cannot calculate the exact time of His second coming from the OT.
