Great Sermon! Impossible to have this marriage today in our society under what is called "legal marriage" the curse of Satan! marriage is sacred but our pastors and churches have joined the world in a secular marriage where one is not married until he gets 'permission' from his state, have a ceremony that establishes the control belongs and all it produces including the children, to the state! All rights are now denied and permission is granted by an unjust court with unbelievers all attributed to the ignorance of our preachers1 god gave men an inalienable right, that no man has the right to violate, yet look at the ministry that is supposed to follow God, not man and his rulers! right
Great Sermon! I really appreciate your teachings, God has given you much insight into what's going on even in the church today.
When you read 1 Corinthians 10:20,21 I was reminded of when I belonged to the PCUSA and their ritualistic nonsense taken from Babylon; celebration of Ash Wednesday and lent (I'd always refused the ashes) not only them but Baptists have fallen into the nonessential ritualistic pit.
There are many churches becoming bed fellows with demons and they try and cover it up by saying, we're just remembering what the Lord went through as He suffered on earth.
If only they'd search the scripture and they'd find God is holy and He never allowed Israel to partner with pagans in their rituals, that was not tolerated.
Even the Church is commanded, Be ye holy, for I am Holy.
We have certainly left our first love.
Oh wow... This message completely messed me up when he said he don't agree with John MacArthur, that's not a bad thing, it just was a shock to me... and what's worse Dr. John Barnett made 100% sense... and I follow guys like James White and his book Potter's freedom and R.C Sprull... So... I don't know what to say anymore!
Great Sermon with important information! Some Observations¶ See http://tinyurl.com/hv6zxwj Well, I could compliment the sermon, but there are already plenty of messages to do that! Oh, and the sermon is worth every compliment given–but so is the transcript which I gave the URL for, It's quite accurate that they should be used together. Just read from verse 18-21..... The transcript for the sermon starts after the section heading "A Question from a Moslem" There are extremely few errors in the transcript. Sometimes an interjection by John isn't included, and when a Bible verse is given with ellipses "...." following it, you are going to have to have your Bible to follow it, for example, "just read from verse 18-21....." ¶There are very few errors in the transcript or from John, On page 15 he use the term "fortresses," which isn't in my Bible and more importantly these "strongholds" are found in 2 Corinthians not 1 Corinthians. The NASB does have "fortresses" ¶Just really minor problems with the transcript and those problems are very few. As such it's great to read the transcript along while listening to the sermon. You could get a lot more out of the sermon that way. Note: ¶ 2 Cor. 5:21 For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.—ESV
Great Sermon! Thank you for this sensitive and insightful teaching on praise. I am very encouraged. God bless your ministry Dr. Barnett. I really appreciate the way you teach. Thank you.
Great Sermon! God promised Abraham and his seed much more than some small strip of land in the Middle East. He has promise us the entire Earth for an inheritance. Rom 4:13 and Joshua 21:43-45.
