Pokémon: Marketing Sexual Innuendos It should be noted that Pokémon media like video games, anime, magazines, and so forth are marketing sexual innuendos. Even the secular TVTropes has a whole section on Accidental Innuendo within Pokémon media, documenting a list of sexual innuendos in Pokémon media. Yet, not only is it Pokémon marketing sexual perversion, but all anime. We would be prudent in remembering that whoremongers (people who are lascivious and perverted) shall have their part in The Lake of Fire as we are warned in Revelation 21, particularly Revelation 21:08. There are other passages in The Seisho (聖書), Japanese word for La Bible, which strongly condemn lasciviousness, which is another name for all manner of sexual perversion. How tragic, yet very sobering, is the fact that all anime is rooted in all manner of sexual perversion aside from the otherwise silly appearance of the anime style of art.

Pokémon: Occultic Since Its Inception Pokémon, a game created by famous artist Satoshi Tajiri (28 August, 1965), has been occultic since its very inception in 27 February, 1996 when Pokémon Red and Green versions were first introduced. We would be wise to heed the warnings about the occult in Deuteronomy 18:10-12.

Helpful Sermon! This sermon is helpful because it exposes the weakness of the spiritual powers of darkness. The only weakness of the powers of darkness is The Light of Jesus Christ.

Insightful! Although Pokémon is imaginary, it does have the potential to get people involved in dealings with familiar spirits. The definition of a familiar spirit is a demonic spirit familiar with a medium channeling them. We must remember that there were dire consequences for King Saul's dealing with a medium in 1 Samuel 28:3-25.

Great Sermon! The speaker also showed that many of the Pokémon designs, like the Ghost-type Gengar, resemble demons. Pokémon, which is a portmanteau of pocket monsters, disturbingly, almost sounds like pocket demons. Not to mention that there are poison types, psychic types, dragon types, and dark types as well as the well known ghost types. Throughout history, practitioners of witchcraft summoned familiar spirits to perform their bidding. Some questions to ponder about. Does the occult practice of channeling familiar spirits sound a lot like the Pokémon game? If Pokémon is seemingly benign, why do many of the Pokémon designs in their post-evolution states look ferocious and monstrous? Does playing Pokémon have the potential to lead to the occult practice of channeling familiar spirits?

Great Sermon! Here is something to think about in relation to Pokémon.
Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the LORD your God. (Leviticus 19:31).
