“ Great Sermon! ” We don't need to go to a conference for hours or even give a talk for even an hour to say what the gospel is.
Paul in 1 Corinthians 15 says specfically what the gospel is, "that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures."
In Acts 16 the jailer asked Paul and Silas, "what must I do to be saved?” The answer, “believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.” How do we believe on the Lord Jesus Christ? By believing the gospel.
This is how we believe the gospel, from Romans 10:9, "that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."
Corinthians 15:1-4
1 Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, 2 by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.
