“ Lawfulness vs. Legality ” It should be noted that Biblical Lawfulness is not the same thing as worldly "legality." For example, under Amendment 8 of the United States Constitution, it bans the use of "cruel and unusual punishments." In Old Testament Israel, brutal stoning was a method of execution. Amendment 8's ban on "cruel and unusual" punishments goes against The Lord's Lawful Use of Brutal Stoning as an execution method. Even though Our Righteous Lord would lawfully authorize brutal executions like stoning for heinous crimes, the modern "legal" view of "human rights" attacks brutal capital punishment for heinous crimes as "cruel", "inhumane", "tyrannical", and "draconian." Sadly, this constitutional construct of "legality" has banned stoning as an execution method. It is sad how the United States of America can ban stoning as an execution method, but legally permit the mass murder of the unborn known as abortion. This sermon is a call to repent of any worldly constructs of legality, especially that which is known as "human rights."
“ Remembering 1 Kings 21:1-29 ” In response to this idolatrous rebellion against The Lord called popery, we ought to remember 1 Kings 21:1-29 in which Elijah predicted the ruination of the Ahab family, especially Ahab and Jezebel. This prediction of the ruination of the Ahab family also included their family members having their remains eaten by dogs in the city and fowls of the air in the fields. As Elijah indicted the Ahab family, so The Lord has indicted the idolatrous clergy of the Vatican. Very needed sermon in times like these.
“ Thomas Paine: United States of Antichrist ” It is known that American Founding Father Thomas Paine (29 January, 1737 - 08 June, 1809) coined the term 'United States of America' on 29 June, 1776 as a public declaration. However, Thomas Paine was an unregenerate antichrist inspired by this spiritual infidelity known as Deism. We know that Thomas Paine advocated Deism in a publication called The Age of Reason published in 1794. What a tragic reality that the term 'United States of America' was first coined by an unregenerate antichrist named Thomas Paine. It is also tragic that Thomas Paine and the rest of the American Founding Fathers built the United States of America on both antichrist Deism and antichrist Freemasonry. The Puritan America exalted Jesus Christ as King, Judge, and Lawgiver, but the United States of America promoted antichrist false religions like Deism and Freemasonry, which paved the way for all other antichrist false religions like popery to occupy free scope in the United States of America. Because America has repudiated its Puritan Heritage in favor of religious pluralism, it is no surprise that the United States of America will prepare the world for the coming antichrist beast. Very sobering sermon.
“ Arminianism: Secular Humanism as Theology ” This sermon shows that Arminianism is really secular humanism passed off as theology. Sadly, so many evangelical organizations are now propagating Arminian heresy. Arminianism is humanistic theology because it is centered upon the "free will" of humans rather than The Sovereignty of The Lord which Calvinistic Predestination is centered upon. We also realize that Arminianism is also antinominianism because of its idea of "free will", which leads to "free will" to sin as one pleases. Arminian "free will" is the reason why churches in America and around the world are in the sad state of disarray that they are in today. This sermon is a call to repent of Arminianism, with its "free will", another name for antinomianism and easy-believism.
“ States' Rights: Legalized Murder of the Unborn ” What Tenth Amendment activists called "states' rights" is really the legalized murder of the unborn, also known as abortion. The American doctrine of "states' rights" is really rebellion against The Kingdom of The Lord because it rejects The Sovereignty of The King of Kings in favour of "state sovereignty." One day, "states' rights" activists will be judged by The Lord on Judgment Day and they will be judged for the murder of the unborn which "states' rights" made legal via Amendment 10 of the U.S. Constitution. Not only that, but another reason why "states' rights" is rebellion against The Lord and His Kingdom is because it rejects His Requirement for a Monarchy. On Judgment Day, Amendment 10 of the U.S. Constitution and the principle of "states' rights" will be burned up. This sermon is a call to repent of the heart idolatry not only of the U.S. Constitution, but the heart idolatry of "states' rights" and that of Amendment 10, which legalized and enabled this murderous rebellion against The Kingdom of The Lord called abortion.
“ The U.S. Constitution Banned Monarchy ” One reason why America no longer has a monarchy like it did in the days of the Puritans is that the U.S. Constitution banned monarchy. The Founding Fathers of the United States of America were intent on creating a government of "We the People", which sought to not only overthrow the monarchy, but ban the monarchy as well. It is sad how the United States of America was built upon rejection of The Biblical Framework of Monarchy. Sadly, the majority of professing Christians in America have chosen humanistic democracy and humanistic republicanism over Biblical Monarchy. This sermon is a call for all nations to restore The Biblical Monarchy in a time where man-centered "liberty" and "freedom" is exalted over God-centered Monarchy.
“ Noting The Constitution and The Church (1845) ” There is a helpful article called: The Constitution and the Church, dating back to 1845, which documents the "deplorable condition of nearly all the churches of
the United States in regard to all that relates to Christian politics."
“ Popes: Predestined To Be Slain By The Lord ” In 1 Kings 18:1-46, Elijah had a showdown against the prophets of Baal and the prophets of the grove. If the Roman Catholic popes were around during the days of Elijah on Mount Carmel, Elijah would have slain the Catholic popes with the sword and thrown them off a cliff. Of course, in 1 Kings 18:40, Elijah had the prophets of Baal and the prophets of the grove, which are false prophets, executed. The real issue at heart is that every pope that has died was slain by The Righteous Wrath of The Lord. This also means that the popes will be judged at The Great White Throne Judgment and be cast into The Lake of Fire as eternal punishment. Remember Revelation 20:11-15. This sermon is a strong indictment against the Vatican and its rebellious leaders known as the popes.
“ Great Sermon! ” An enlightening sermon! Very different from the common interpretation of evangelical nowadays . Glad to have this Biblical and Historic Reformed interpretation.
“ Tenth Amendment: States' Rights To An Abortion ” As we know, the Tenth Amendment of the American Constitution says that, "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people." This also means that Amendment 10 enables the legalization of abortion. As we know, abortion, which is murder, is a violation of The Laws of The Kingdom of The Lord. A sermon like this also demonstrates that Amendment 10 of the American Constitution is an attack on The Lord's Kingdom.
“ Republic and Empire: Secular Humanism ” It should be noted that both a republic where people elect their leaders and an empire where emperors rule over people are both secular humanistic forms of government. The only difference is the number of people involved. While democracy and republic are both virtuous forms of government, both are of secular and humanistic origin. All the empires of the world, be it the Aztec, Incan, Roman, and Chinese, were all of secular humanistic origin. This sermon is very thought invoking when the issue of government is involved.
“ Ted Weiland: Dominionist ” While Ted Weiland who wrote Bible Law Vs. the U.S. Constitution is a born again believer, he espouses the heresy of dominionism, which desires a Christian theocratic monarchy on the earth. One day, a Biblical Monarchy will be eternally established, but until that day comes, we ought to fulfill The Great Commission by Preaching The Gospel of Jesus to all nations of the world. Mr. Ted Weiland does proclaim Biblical Truth, but he is misguided with his dominionist theology.
“ John Calvin: Nonconformist ” It should be noted that John Calvin (10 July, 1509 – 27 May, 1564), like all the Protestant Reformers, was a nonconformist. The reason why the Protestant Reformers were nonconformists is because they opposed popery since popery is rebellion against The Lord. John Calvin was a great Protestant Reformer worth commemorating in times like these.
