Good sermon Good message, Pastor Pereira.
We certainly want to avoid all the forms and examples of paganism in this Revelation passage. Also, you have talent of bringing out the positive teachings of God as well as the warnings and rebukes of God. Thank you for your ministry.
Great Sermon! A very practical and helpful message. It is a message that moves one from the daily problems to the daily solutions, it is a challenging message to both Christians and non Christians as we attempt to seek God's glory in every situation as opposed to seeking self glory.
Great Sermon! I was greatly blessed by this message. We all have stress; Pastor Pereira explains from God's Word, how we as Christians can reduce stress in our lives. I have been been given comfort and hope from this message. Thanks be to The Lord Jesus.
Great Sermon! This sermon was very encouraging in that the speaker used God's word more fully when searching for His leading on the topic of relationships from God's perspective. Thank you for your loyalty to the fullness of Christ and not to comfort or present day traditions.
very enlightening sermon! I know what you mean Adrian, this brother is very easy to listen to, and one learns so much. Although i do not agree totally with the eschatolical viewpoint of brother John, i was enlightend to know that babylon in Revelation refers not only to the harlotry of Rome, but also embraces liberal protestantism, pagan religions, and new age culture, because they are under the vatican's umbrella.
Great Sermon! Answer: If one will read the account of John 19:38-40 it is readily discernible that Joseph of Arimathaea took Christ's body down from the cross and Nicodemus brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about an hundred pound weight. Then they took the body of Jesus and wound it in linen clothes with the spices.
Subsequently, they laid Jesus' body in the sepulcre. This initial annointing was a separate annointing from that of Mary Magdalene and Mary the Mother of James (Mark 16), which never took place because Christ had risen from the grave.
Thus, Christ's body was hastily embalmed as recorded by John 19:38-40.
In my message I simply stated that when Peter and John stormed in to the sepulchre in John 20:5, they would have seen a "cacoon- like" figure of Christ's body formed by the linen-strips soaked with the myrrh and aloes that Nicodemus had brought earlier.
How necessary this is to be heard In support of your message.
WHAT MAKES A REAL MAN OF GOD?
Today, so many men have forgotten, or have never known what it is to be a real MAN.
A real MAN is someone who is prepared to sacrifice much to fight for what he believes in, or who fights to defend that whom he holds dear. 21st century man simply foists the blame and responsibility onto others. A real MAN is someone who defends the weak and tackles the oppressor. 21st century man at best sits back and moans about the situation and lets others do the dirty work, and at worst actively joins the evil.
A real MAN of Christ has those traits in addition to great humility (Proverbs 22:4), yet of great courage and willing to lay his life down for his Master and King (Prov 28:1). A real MAN will forego earthly riches in order to serve his King who 'had nowhere to lay his head' (Prov 22:4). A real MAN will be prepared to stand alone - and for that we see the actions of MEN of GOD through the millennia in the scriptures. A real MAN will be prepared to take on the establishment and the pluralistic church, look at Matthew 23 - Jesus talks under no uncertain terms to the Pharisees. Hebrews 12:1-4 in a nutshell explains on what our manhood should be based.

Rejoicing in the Resurrection Too few sermons on this cardinal doctrine. Great to know that their are still preachers who are not ashamed of the gospel in it's entirety. In the interests of presenting the truth we must exercise caution and not introduce error, however small it may appear. For in so doing we play into the hands of the sceptics etc. Please note Jesus hadn't been embalmed, hence the reason for the women to visit the tomb.See for reference, Mk 15:42,Mk 16:1ff,Lu 24:1.Please note that that there is no intent to be "picky",but in the interest of truth we cannot afford to be inaccurate. Many thanks for facing down liberal thought and teaching a literal bodily resurrection of our Saviour.
Great Sermon! I found the Truth of your message ....refreshing in its clarity, and chilling for its indictment against the liberalism sweeping mainstream evangelicalism ....
God Bless You... I am most grateful and will pass this on to remnant believers in Illinois.
