Great Sermon! So under conviction. Can you please suggest a good book on witnessing? I have completely forgotten how. I used to do it all the time when I was first saved.
Praise the Lord that you are doing what literally all pastors should be doing; obeying God rather than man. Regardless of what mankind can do to you, it is all in God’s perfect plan for you and for His church.
The below is easier said than done, but it still applies to all.
Acts 5:29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.
Matthew 5:10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. 12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
“What advantage is it to us to know that God has created, and by His providence doth still uphold all things? A. That we may be patient in adversity;8 thankful in prosperity;9 and that in all things which may hereafter befall us, we place our firm trust in our faithful God and Father,10 that nothing shall separate us from His love;11 since all creatures are so in His hand, that without His will they cannot so much as move.” (Heidelberg)
If people lack the spirit of discernment regarding the problem of obeying the state in things which contradict the Bible it is not a wonder that they lack discernment in many other things regarding spiritual life...
We will continue to pray for you. Do not forget that, over all the judges of the earth, you stand before the majestic Supreme Judge, our loving God, who has a plan for you in all these. Honor Him, and what you are doing will resound for eternity!
Great Sermon! Pastor Richard,
I've been beyond blessed finding your preaching. I love how you preach with such conviction and truth.
I came out of the heretical word of faith and charasmatic movement 4 years ago. I found it very hard to find true teaching with conviction
I love how you preach your sermoms with a now message, covid and this age we live in. Bless you pastor, I again a deeply grateful for finding your messages!
Excellent Very Enriching. Please do more. Suggestions More Thomas brooks, Thomas Boston, John Flavel.
Narration is clear perhaps a little too fast in narration speech initially in part 3 but settles down to a comfortable pace in Parts 4,5,6,7,8 ... are there parts 1 and 2 ? Pastor Thomas Brroks says more in 1 sermon than most Pastors say in a lifetime. I can see he has influenced you greatly. Thank you Pastor Richardson as your preaching has enriched me deeply as well. Maranatha !
Dear brother, we will continue to pray for you that the Lord may give you wisdom from above in handling all this in His will and strength. Last year you and your church prayed for revival. What happens now is an answer to that prayer. The Lord is testing you, purifying the church and seeking to make you a testimony in your country. When the Lord came with power in mighty revivals of the past, the result was the same: some were purified and dedicated, others disappeared because they did not want to pay the price of total dedication.
