A must listen!
Finally the true inetrpretation! They say never judge a book by its cover! And I would say never take for granted that a preacher believes in âSovereign Graceâ till youâve heard his interpretation of Rom 9:13. Dose his exposition of this Scripture and the whole of Romans 9 raise the million dollar question â âWhy doth He yet find fault? For who hath resisted His will?â [Rom 9:19]
There are many preachers who claim to be âReformedâ who interpret this scripture to please the carnal mind. Hereâs a quote from John MacArthur Jr â "With regard to Esau, I say, nowhere in Genesis does it say that God hated Esau, it doesnât say anywhere that he hated Esau. It was only after Esau had chosen sin and abandoned God, for many many years, over a thousand years, before God would look back and say "Esau have I hated". By that time it was clear to all where Esau stood. So once the sinner is inexorably, and finally identified with his sin, then the sinner feels the hatred of God.( GC Audio Tape -70-11).
The day is coming when God will show His displeasure to many who have explained away the harsher doctrines. He will chide them with the same words he chided Eliphaz â âYe have not spoken of Me the thing that is right!â [Job 42:7].
Oh how we need to praise God for preachers like Brother Curtis! May God raise up more such men
This great sermon says it all! About Baptism. It explains everything beautifully and in great detail. Very informative; nothing is left unexplained. One to pass on to loved ones who've not yet been baptised.
Great Sermon! What a clear preaching of the doctrine of sanctification. It is a blessing to hear the finished work of God as it pertains to sanctification and not to look to the works of the law.
