“ Great Sermon! ” Thank you Larry and Mark for this discussion. It certainly clears up the fact that we are not saved by works. So much confusion on this issue that it needed addressing. Many people take issue with the Book of James but they don't compare scripture with scripture which you both do so well. God Bless

“ Great Sermon! ” In all of these discussions on "Free Will", I always am able to pick up something new for confirmation on the Doctrine of Election. I am grateful for that. Mark, I was a "free willer" not too long ago, but God wasn't finished with me. He opened my eyes to the truth and now I uphold the Doctrine of Election and Presdestination and it has made me free indeed. Maybe your message today, will open someone elses eyes to the truth. We can pray for this.
“ Great Sermon! ” Thank you Larry and Mark for a good sermon on "The False Concept of Free Will" All these verses from both Old Testament and New Testament give us that perfect assurance that God does have an Elect group of people for whom Jesus Christ gave His life. We don't have to guess about anything, we have the Word of God to back us up.

They are especially helpful to those of us who have been brought up to believe in "Free Will" as I was. We are now set free and you both have provided so much scripture to back it up. I got out my Bible and followed along and learned all the verses that speak about the Grace of God and how that grace comes, not by us, but it is a gift of God. I really enjoyed and got so much out of this discussion on "Free Will vs. God's Will" You both gave me much more ammunition against those that oppose this doctrine of Free Will than I had before. “ Great Sermon! ” I happen to respect the Larry Phillips that doesn't change from day to day. I say it takes more love to send a message like this for it is easy to please others with what they want to hear. It takes courage to realize that standing up for the Word of the Lord will bring charges such as "unloving, judgmental, and hypocritical" This makes it easier for men to remain in darkless and still feel good about THEMSELVES. Every charge that has been brought against you, my friend, has been spoken of me and you are not ALONE. We are just few and far between. I pray Larry, that you will continue to speak the truth without compromise and that the Lord will strengthen you in your battles. Satan may be winning, but not for long. We are slowly being brought into the "one world religion" and those few that speak truth will be persecuted and we haven't even seen the worse of it yet. God Bless Larry.
“ Great Sermon! ” After listening to this Sermon, who could call Larry Phillips a Fatalist? Doesn't sound like it to me. The scriptures when interpreted correctly, give us great comfort in knowing EVERYTHING is in the control of the Almighty, All Powerful, All knowing and All Present God. I can't be a "Fatalist" and believe in God's Word. Thanks Larry.
