A self examining sermon! Thank you for such a fruitful message!
Yes..Everything I am ,everything I have comes from my great God.
The very breath i breathe is His.
Yes..God is the source of all things and his word is my treasure.
Great Sermon! This sermon includes Dr. Burrell's personal testimony. It is a must hear for all Church members for its message speaks to Church members who are not truly Born Again.
Great Sermon! An excellent sermon,,,thoroughly enjoyed it! All we have to do is trust Him, make our petition in prayer in Jesus name with Thanksgiving and He will take care of our needs. He has taken care of me now for 68 years and will care for me in eternity!
Great Sermon! WOW! This message was so encouraging for me to be reminded that God will truly finish the work He began in my life. I immediately thought about brothers & sisters who struggle with their faith and I am so happy that I can share this truth with them. I can truly apply the teachings in this sermon to my life and that is what preaching is all about.
THANK YOU!
Great Sermon! The Lord choose your sermon for me today. My hours have been cut and I seem to have alot of time on my hands to worry. My mind doesn't even have to be idle to worry. I worry about my salvation because I worry so much and believe I'm not truly trusting God for my provisions. Then if I'm not worrying I think I'm too confident and vain. I'm divorced w/ a 10yr daughter and we have a financial stash but every time I dip into it I get scared. Then I worry that I am a hoarder. So much to worry about and so little time. But I so enjoyed your sermon today. I downloaded it on my mp3 and walked about 2.5 miles and felt so normal and loved by God. He knows me just as I am. Thankyou, Dr. Horn.
Enlightening Dr Minnick presented hebrews in a way that open wide my visions on real faith. This message is truly a very important point every believer in Christ should know and understand. Thank you Dr Mark you are truly an annointed messenger from above.
Great Sermon! I heard this when he originally preached it @ BJU last Bible conference. His sermon has often come to my mind in times of need since and I was so privileged to hear it again. Thank you sermonaudio.com and thank you Dr. Horn.
This is mislabelled. This is a good sermon, but it is not Doug Garland, and it is not from Matthew 11. My guess is it's Nathaniel Pringle.
Thanks for your wonderful ministry. I use this website frequently at work.
Certainly Needed Today One cannot help but wonder the degree to which leading people in a prayer that is supposed to assure one of salvation contributes directly to the problem Dr. Minnick addresses in this sermon. How many people, when wrestling with their salvation, have been falsely assured of salvation based on something like, "did you ask Jesus in your heart?" To which the person says "yes" and he is assured of salvation without asking legimate questions concerning the presence of genuine faith. Questions like, "Are you crazy about Jesus?" Or, "does the story of redemption evoke within you authenticate feelings of love and gratitude toward your Savior?" The application of 1 John 2:19 is quite appropriate. And given more time Dr. Minnick no doubt would have included Peter's call for us to make our election sure (2 Peter 1:10) or Paul's directive for Christians to examine themselves (2 Cor 13.5). To me Matthew 7:21 is one of the scariest verses in the Bible, for Jesus said "many in that day" how many is many when Jesus asks the question? Dr. Minnick works the numbers down to 10% falling away. But we all know it is ridiculous to suggest that 90% of any collective body of believers is converted. This message must be preached by all w/ a call to repent/believe the gospel without praying another prayer.
Great Sermon! I knew this great man for the last few years of his life. He was a great preacher and father, I look forward to seeing him again someday when I get to Heaven.
