“ Great difference. ” The difference between true and false conversion, of preaching the Gospel repentance and of preaching a shallow message and giving an empty invitation.
“ Repentance. ” Repentance means taking out the sin in your life and submitting to God's commandments. Repentance is a costly thing. For John, it cost his head to preach God's will. In many churches today repentance is not preached, so many are unconverted in those churches.
“ Repentance. ” Preaching salvation in Christ without repentance means preaching half of the Gospel. Because of this kind of preaching churches are full with unconverted people. We must preach repentance as John did it.
“ Sovereignty. ” Sovereignty and initiative of God in salvation. The mission of evangelism is given by God not to the pastor only, but to His church. Three aspects of evangelism: awaken, exhort and comfort.
“ Restraining sin. ” Man is totally depraved because of sin, but this does not speak about the degree of depravity, but about the extension of it. The whole man is affected by sin. God is restraining sin in mankind. The message presents 5 methods by which God restrains sin. Excellent study.
“ Great truth. ” Texts for the sermon: Luke 124-5 and Psalm 130:3-4. The supreme motive in evangelism must be the glory of God, second to this the salvation of men. God receives His glory when a man is saved, but also when a sinner goes in hell. Excellent, biblical, profound message!
“ To be like Jesus. ” A message on Psalm 45:7. Salvation makes us like Jesus: we will love what He loves and we will hate what He hates. God is a sovereign Savior who predestinates.

“ Thank God for Gods devoted ministers. ” Just to listen to this mans voice is to come into the presence of Gods holiness. Oh how far have we fallen in this day and hour from reverence for Gods word and personal holiness.
“ Great Sermon! ” Outstanding message preached 44 years ago, but so relavent for the modern one who calls themselves Christian, and do not even realize the humanism that has overtaken so many.
“ Listen To This Message ” This is an important message that demonstrates the problem of much of what is going on in the church today.
