Everything that we do as servants of Christ can be summarized in a word: WORSHIP!
Thus when we read in 1 Samuel that the consummation of Hannah's sacrifice of devotion arose out of the ground of worship, we conclude that worship was not just one of the many activities to which Hannah gave herself; it was the ONLY activity!
The heart and soul of the sacrifice of devotion is worship! It is what we as Christian’s are all about.
In fact, it is the reason we are saved. Peter states that we are saved so that we may “offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ” (1 Peter 2:5). Paul spoke of evangelism as his worship offering — his tithe — to God.
