Many who affirm they believe in the inspiration of the Word of God deny it in practice. This is seen when someone will make such statements as, “I know that is what the Bible says, but it does not agree with science, history, or some other opinion of man. Either the Lord created the heavens and earth in six days or He did not. When one questions what God wrote in the Scriptures concerning creation he is denying the inspired Word of God, Ex. 20:11. This applies to all other subjects, ideas, and opinions of men. While modern preachers have bought idea that they must look to the psychologist and psychiatrist for answers to the soul and psyche of man, they forgot that God wrote the book on the soul, heart, will, emotions, mind, and psyche of man. The Bible alone is the Word of God. All ideas, opinions, writings, and subjects must be examined in light of the Word of God. |
