This is a POWERFUL WORD OF WARNING! THIS IS A CALL BACK TO "THE OLD PATHS" when Baptists believed in the sovereign work of the Spirit in quickening a poor lost, totally-depraved sinner. It is a call back to "the faith of our fathers." May God bless all who hear this message ... and I pray they will TAKE HEED.
Great Sermon! The family and I just listened to this sermon: excellent! Very few religious organizations calling themselves Christian preach the truth about the absolute sovereignty of God in salvation. We should thank God that this is the way it is, otherwise none would be saved!
Great Sermon! I started listening to your messages from the Lord on sermon audio a few months ago and the Lord Jesus Christ has been blessing me tremendously. Please know that the Holy Spirit is teaching and leading me in that narrow way because of your faithfulness. Love in Christ :) Ron , Canada
Wonderful sermon! Elder Barber:
What a blessing you are....
I needed this particular sermon right at the time I listened. God's timing is so perfect. Thank you a trillion times!
Powerful, Needed Preaching! Our beloved brother Jimmy Barber is here dealing with the profound reality of the holiness and justice of God — that God hates sin, your sin, my sin, all sin, and that HE WILL PUNISH THE WICKED.
May it please the Lord for this truth to grip your heart, as was the case long ago when Jonathan Edwards dared to preach on "Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God." After all, this is Scripture! "God is angry with the wicked every day" (Psa. 7:11).
There is more in the Bible than the "love of God," and you can be sure that in modern preaching the stress is too much upon the goodness and forebearance of Jehovah God, while the reality of GOD'S JUDGMENT OF SIN & SINNERS is often left out!
PRAY for an awakening as you hear this entire series of Bible based sermons.
God bless you and your church, Bro. Barber. Wylie and Lou
Great Sermon! Listened to this message this morning. Amen Brother Jimmy for a wonderful message that everyone should hear. Keep up the good work. Hope all is well.
