The inspiration of the Word of God is more under attack today than is often known. The enemy is not those outside the circle of “Christian” ideology so much. It is from those within the camp. Many say they believe in the inspiration of the Scriptures, but this does not mean that everyone believes the same thing. Additionally, many who claim to hold to the infallibility and accuracy of the Bible, in practice deny it. The Bible does not contain the Word of God. The Bible alone is the Word of God. The subtle attack on the Scriptures to destroy it is found in the modern translations of the Bible. Almost all of the modern translations are produced by men who reject the original autographs for the piece-meal construction of 'older manuscripts' by those subjectively chose what they considered to be correct. Some of the modern 'bibles' are not translations. Rather than give a true word-for-word translation, the composers admittedly stated that they were following the principle of 'dynamic equivalence.' This means they put what they believe the writer meant rather than what he said. They forget that God meant what He said and preserved it for us today.
