*The antinomian lie has been around a long time. People like to believe and teach that you can be a carnal Christian. They want to suggest that the Holy Spirit can dwell within you and produce no holiness. They want to imply that Christ can save you from hell, while not saving you from sin. They want to imagine that Christ is such a weakling that He could dwell inside of you and make no discernible difference in your conduct and thinking. This is a lie, and Paul warns us not to be deceived by it.
