Mankind is under the judgment and condemnation of God for sin. The Bible knows nothing of neutral or innocent people. Rather the Bible says that all of us are depraved and sinful. Now what we come to when we face the sovereignty of God is the humbling reality that a God who is totally sovereign has absolute control over all of His creation. He is free to dispose of fallen, sinful human being according to His own will and purposes. This does not mean that God is arbitrary in the wrong sense of the word because He always acts consistently with justice. He is a just and holy God, but He is absolutely sovereign and has the right to do with fallen humanity as He sees fit.
