We are here to know the truth of the Gospel and to walk with Christ. This is worth contending. Paul would warn the Galatians that they had turned away from the truth of the Gospel. How awful it is to think you have the Gospel and to find out you missed it. Yet this is why Paul is writing through the power of the Holy Spirit. God was calling His people back. He had done this at different times throughout His ministry. He had rebuked the disciples for fear, for little faith, and turning away from the cross.
