Last week we ended in the middle of Paul's rebuke of Peter. Peter had come to visit Antioch. During his visit some more visitors arrived from Jerusalem and Peter had stopped eating with the Gentiles. This was noticed by the other Jews and they as well had separated themselves from the Gentiles, dividing the church. Paul had needed to address this quickly and publicly as the offense was a public offense and the gospel was at stake. Last week we looked at the first of the two points he makes with Peter. He reminds Peter that a man is justified by faith, not by the works of the law. Join us as we look at Paul's conclusion, that if righteousness comes through the law, Christ would have died in vain.
