When God has called us into a service there really is no alternative to the call. We need to refuse to hear the enemy and his call to neglect God's service. God never calls us to decrease in His work. There is no retirement from God's ministry short of going on to heaven. If need be go and get re-fired for God, because all that we do for Him is fulfilling. The body and mind might want to quit but the heart knows there is something saying don't fall out. Our service is to spread the gospel, to bring eternal life into someone's life. To show the mercy that God has extended to us; that same mercy that still is at work in us. Troubles will abound for us in the ministry but hope is always there because the strength for us to rely on is not ours but God's! God will give us the stamina we need to lean on Him. He supplies all we need to work with to perform the service we have been called to be bullheaded about.
