The enemy will use anything and everything to get us to not study. Man is doing his best to make the study of God's word easy as pie. But that's not how God has it. The word ‘study' means to make an effort. There is a right way to study and that is for us to dig into it. Much of the false doctrine out there is a result of taking the easy route; all those short cuts cut people short. We need to receive to take God's word with a willingness in our hearts. Our efforts should be like the Berean's; they searched the scriptures. But that word ‘searched' doesn't just mean to investigate but to also interrogate. They brought up every question from every angle to get their answers. Also they studied on a regular basis. If no schedule for studying daily then we will spiritually become malnourished may be even lead to an earlier death then we should have experienced. These people did all this studying so they would know the truth when they saw it. The more we get into God's word the more we can share and help others, and encourage them to study themselves. Are we bullheaded about our study or is it just optional? study investigate interrogate daily answers malnourished encourage optional effort doctrine
