The end of the book of Revelation is about glory. Glory because Christ died to redeem men and women from every tribe, tongue, and nation to be in His kingdom.
As chapter eleven draws to a close, the seventh trumpet with the seven bowl judgments is ready to sound. With the sounding of this trumpet earth is brought to the final series of judgments and the long prophesied kingdom is on the brink of beginning.
Today the world functions as Satan's kingdom, under his rule and dominion. In the time to come, heaven will be a scene of rejoicing and worship as God fulfills His promises and answers the prayers of His people when He brings judgment upon Satan and the people of his kingdom.
The anger and wrath of fallen man, against God, will yet be displayed as God's final judgments come. The stage will be set for the final battle when the armies of heaven will demonstrate the futility of rebellion against God.
Chapter eleven concludes with John revealing that he was given a glimpse of God's temple in heaven and the ark of His covenant with Israel that the wicked will be judged and punished.
