What can we say about a godly man falling into sin? We must say that it is a very sad thing. All through this narrative we have found every reason to admire Noah's godliness. The moral courage and the fortitude of spirit which it took for him to live by faith, and to do what God had commanded him to do, in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation; it was very great.
