Not one of the four accounts recorded of the life of Phillip in the Gospels is particularly flattering. Many biographers have taken these four accounts draw a picture of the man as a simple person who was in over his head. Let us see if we can come up with a better portrait of a man that appears to have been much like all of us. The one thing we will learn above all is that Phillip concluded what would be enough to complete his life and he was right. "Show us the Father and it will be enough."
