So often in life, we do not know what we are asking for when it comes to Jesus and His Kingdom. Months before our Lord was crucified, James and John approached Christ with a rather personal question; ell, actually it was their mom. In fact, James and John didn’t have the guts to ask Christ personally, so they sent their mother and she asked the question for them.
Matthew 20:20-22, “Then came to him the mother of Zebedee’s children with her sons, worshipping him, and desiring a certain thing of him. And he said unto her, What wilt thou? She saith unto him, Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other on the left, in thy kingdom. But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask….â€
