JESUS STANDS BEFORE HIS ACCUSERS "Now the chief priests and all the council sought testimony against Jesus to put Him to death, but found none. For many bore false witness against Him, but their testimonies did not agree." Mark 14:55-56 When Jesus faces the Sanhedrin, they already know the verdict they want, but they are unable to adjudicate their case. The testimony of their false witnesses doesn't agree. Finally, the High Priest take matters into his pen hands. He asks Jesus, "Are the the Christ, the Son of the blessed?" Jesus answers, "I AM. And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Power, and coming with the clouds of heaven." Whom do you believe and to whom are you going to listen? That was the question then and that's the question now!
