JESUS BETRAYED INTO THE HANDS OF SINNERS 1 Man of sorrows what a name for the Son of God, who came ruined sinners to reclaim: Hallelujah, what a Savior! 2 Bearing shame and scoffing rude, in my place condemned he stood, sealed my pardon with his blood: Hallelujah, what a Savior! As we continue our study Mark's account of what the things Jesus taught and did during His last week of ministry, we see that Jesus will be abandoned by His friends and companions and will suffer and die alone. In this passage the mystery of the incarnation is on full display. Jesus is truly God and truly man, fully God and fully human.
