Scripture Mark 13:24-37 Text: Same Sermon: SOME OF CHRIST'S LAST WORDS ABOUT THE FUTURE Points: I. The Certainty of the Coming Judgment (vss 24-27) II. The Certainty of the Coming Signs (vss 28-31) III. The Certainty of Our Needing to Watch (vss 32-37)
JESUS FINAL WORDS ABOUT COMING JUDGMENT "But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. "Take heed, watch and pray; for you do not know when the time is." "And what I say to you, I say to all: Watch!" Mark 13:32,33,36 This Lord's Day we will consider the last section of what is known as the Olivet Discourse. We've been focusing on the last days of Christ's ministry... A third to a half of the Gospels focus on these last eight days of Christ's ministry. In this last part of Mark 13 Jesus principally warns His followers to be watchful and faithful until He returns.
