Philippians 3:10-14,20-21 Study The objective of our journey is to become more like Christ. The actions to reach this goal is Learning about Christ, leaning toward Christ, and looking for Christ. As we look for Christ in our daily lives, we understand that this world is temporary. Our location is temporary. Our longing is temporary. Our likeness is temporary. Our goal should be to stand before God at the judgment, having completed and accomplished His will for our lives. According to our text, leaning on Christ involves forgetting the past. What two aspects of our past should we choose to forget? We should forget past accomplishments and past failures. Jesus should not simply have a well-known or prominent place in our lives. He should have first place in our lives. We should put Him before all other activities and people in our lives. what is one of the first steps and objectives in having a life of joy?
