Philippians 3:3-9 Study In Christianity, salvation also called deliverance or redemption is the "saving of human beings from sin and its consequences, which include death and separation from God" by Christ's death and resurrection, and the justification following this salvation. Paul's resume was filled with all kinds of religious credentials as we have seen. But any system that teaches that we can earn or merit our way into Heaven is A Faulty Way. How sad it is, that many are trusting a faulty way. They have a stack of honorable deeds and religious accomplishments. When you turn to Christ, you are turning away from other things. We are not accepted because of our own righteousness, but because of the righteousness of Christ. Do you know Jesus? Or are you still trusting in your religion to get you to heaven? I urge you to do a new accounting of your life and figure out what matters, and what doesn't. Are you willing to trade your own spiritual resume for the righteousness of Jesus Christ? Would you like to go to heaven? Here are five words that can take you there: Only Jesus and Jesus only.
