This final section in the chapter emphasizing the ministry of the Holy Spirit in the believer's life and the security the believer has in their new relationship with God are to be remembered for stability in times of uncertainty and difficulties. The forgiveness of sin resulting in no condemnation before the holy God provides for the indwelling ministry of the Holy Spirit who enables and provides for the believer to grow and live out the new life given by God. Faith in Jesus Christ begins the new life that is then to be lived out, for all eternity, by faith in Christ. The life of faith will be one of spiritual growth that produces a character that is increasing like that of Jesus Christ including the virtue of endurance. Those who have been declared righteous are to then live righteous making the learning and living out of God's word the pattern of life. In so doing as the difficulties come, there is to be the calming assurance that there is nothing in this life, in this world that can ever separate the eternal relationship God has given through faith in Jesus Christ. Following this message there was a question and answer session relating to two topics, the qualifications of deacons and church membership.
