God's good news to mankind is that there is salvation from eternal death and punishment. This good news is magnified by understanding the condition of man that makes salvation by God a necessity.
This salvation has been provided by the death of Jesus Christ and is received by faith in Him alone.
Subjectively, the Spirit of God has confirmed the great love God has for us in our hearts. Objectively the love of God has been demonstrated to us in His sending His Son to die for us. The amazing fact of God's love is that it was shown to those who were helpless, ungodly, and of no value to God. This love was demonstrated to us who were the enemies of God. We of ourselves had no means of being brought into a right relationship with God.
God has done the great work of reconciling us to Himself by having His Son die for us. Now because He not only died but was raised from the dead, we too shall live with Him.
