Second, learn how important it is for us and our people to receive the testimony that God gives us. A third thing we learn from our text is the identity of the one God often uses to take away His witness from us, from our churches and from our nations. A fourth thing our text shows us is that there are times when it looks as though the church and her witness have been defeated. We are taught, or reminded, that the Lord will always have the last word.
