The resurrection of Jesus Christ provides sinners with three guarantees highlighted in this study. One, the resurrection guarantees that the penalty for sin has been paid in full and the guilty sinner can be declared righteous before a holy God. The crediting of this perfect righteousness to the guilty one is by faith in the person and work of Jesus Christ.
Second, the resurrection of Jesus Christ guarantees the future resurrection to eternal life of all those who have been declared righteous.
And third, Christ's resurrection guarantees a coming judgment since God has revealed that He has fixed a day when He will judge the world by His standard of righteousness. Apart from receiving the righteousness of Christ by faith as a gift, no man, woman, or child will meet that standard and be declared fit to spend eternity with God.
