While they are lived through and endured the believer is told of the ongoing ministry of the Holy Spirit who not only indwells but also intercedes in prayer. The Spirit prays with wisdom and knowledge the believer doesn't have, with an full view of the plans and purposes of God and how the suffering will ultimately be used beneficially in the maturing process of the believer.
